Hello everybody:

My mother in-law's IV was approved, she received her passport with the visa in it, however, no envelope was received (the one you are not supposed to open and give to the officer at POE).

When she went for medical examination, all the results were sent to the embassy digitally, she did not have to go to the interview with any papers.

Is this normal now? she wont have to carry an envelope at POE? there is a notation on her visa that reads: "IV DOCS IN CCD" what does that mean?

Like always, I thank you for your help

My wife has been approved for an immigrant visa. We live in Colombia. We are having 2nd thoughts about migrating to the US. Would itbe easy or hard to convert the CR1 to a tourist visa. She owns an apt here in Colombia free and clear in her name.

She hasn't had the interview yet in Bogota nor an apppintment yett.

Any thoughts?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but if I submitted two I-130s for my two stepchildren do I need to fill out a separate I-864 for each one, or one is sufficient for both? I ask this because USCIS only asked me to pay the fee for one single I-864 for the both of them, but it is not very clear in the instructions if I need to file two separate ones or just include the second stepchild as a family member following to join within 6 months.

Thanks in advance if anyone knows the answer to this.
