My wife is Chinese. The current passport is valid for her to get her Visa to go to the US. The current passport expires November 2022. My wife wants to get a new passport so that she will have a valid passport when the current passport expires. Will her current passport be invalidated by getting a new passport?

Hi all, I hope everyone is doing great in this chaos. I applied my K1 on AUG 2019, it got approved on SEP 2019. My fiancee also received an email on DEC 2019saying that "NVC will now forward the petition to the local US Consulate." Everything was going smoothly until the pandemic. I think I am at P2.5 where my fiancee should be able to receive the package. Unfortunately, it hasn't changed to "AP" or something else. I am stuck in the process of "READY" for almost a year. If any one has experienced or is now experiencing the same chaos, could you please let me know what is the best move I should take at this moment? Or who should I go to? Thank you so much for your time!

Last week I received NVC email and immigration transfer my case to NVC. I was following the instruction to send require through ASK NVC FORM to ask stay in F2B not automatic conversion of F1 after I became US citizens. But the after submitted the form and it seems not working at all. neither confirmation message or error message at all. I do not know my request submitted successful or not. Anyone had this problem or not please? Thanks.

I have already submitted my ROC package. I did submit a lot of joint documents but I am not sure whether they are sufficient or not. I didn't have power of attorney/will in the package I submitted. Can anyone please tell me whether the power of attorney or will is really necessary? Are they considered as strong evidence? I am thinking about creating one now in case I get RFE in the future (nobody can tell I will receive an RFE or not). Which power of attorney do you think is the best, general power of attorney, durable power of attorney, springing power of attorney or medical power of attorney? And I am in Texas, anyone knows the steps of creating a valid power of attorney in Texas? Thank you in advance!
