US Immigration from China

Hi all,

I am a grandparent filling out an I-131/reentry permit application for my 9 year old granddaughter. Do I need to also fill out and submit the G-28?

I received my receipt/extension letter today. The waiting process formally begins. My receipt begins with SRC (Texas Service Center). I heard Texas Service Center was the fastest processing center right now. Is this true? I have joined a facebook group of "I-751 removing conditions". A lot of people posted their timelines and shared their good news in that group. I noticed many people who filed this year and got approved in just 4-7 months (a few are even getting approved within 3 months) are ALL from Texas Service Center, there is no exception! Is Texas Service Center really this fast right now? Can anyone from SRC please share your timeline or experience? Very appreciated!

I haven't been here for a while. I entered the US in February with b2 to escape coronavirus (I feel a bit stupid to say that now) and be with my fiance (now husband) in this unstable time. We received my K1 approval in April (NOA2) . With things got worse, we decided to get married directly. We had to wait because the whole city was in quarantine, finally we got married in August online (talking about being modern, yay!).

I didn't think about the K1 for a long time since I no longer need it. It just hit me today that I never received anything from USCIS after the NOA2. No package, no phone call, nothing. I still have my Chinese phone number active just in case they get in touch with me. But I have nothing. I already filed my adjustment of status as an American citizen's spouse. I am just not sure should I ask about my k1 or cancel the application somewhere?

October 12, 2019 - Filed for AOS, EAD, and AP

October 24, 2019 - Received NOA1 for above filings

March 27, 2020 - Received EAD/AP combo card

September 28, 2020 - Filed for renewal of EAD/AP combo card (including one form G-1125 for both forms I-765 and I-131)

September 30, 2020 - EAD/AP renewal forms received by USCIS lockbox, Phoenix

October 19, 2020 - It's been three weeks, and still no NOA1 acknowledging action on application for EAD/AP renewal

When first filed in 2019, it took only 12 days to receive NOA1. Now it's been 21 days and still no NOA1.

Am I wrong to expect that USCIS will even send me a NOA1 for EAD/AP renewal applications? I did fill out two forms G-1125.

We recently resubmitted our AOS packages because we had to include two separate checks for both my wife and her son's packages. September 2 , 2020 was the date they received the packages. The resubmission instruction were not very clear as to why the packages were rejected. I had to call to get clarification. Normally, if the package is rejected, it will be sent back within 30 day. Anyway, its been about 48 day since the packages arrived at the Chicago processing center. Has anyone had a similar situation happen to them?
