A few months ago, I used Emma on the USCIS site to find out which service center my case is at. I'm trying to do it again today and feel like I am going in circles. Does anyone know the exact wording I should use to find out the service center my case is being processed at. Or know of another means to retrieve that information. Any help is greatly appreciated.

My case is out of process time frame. I sent E-Request online. However a week passed by and I still didn't get any respond. Does anybody know how long will it take to get reply? My case is in Nebraska.

My wife has an interview next month in Guangzhou. Now there is a Covid outbreak in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and, so far, 3 people in the city my wife lives in near Guangzhou. Where can I look to see what the Consulate doing as far as conducting interviews? I'm thinking they will suspend interview and that we should wait for them to contact us to re-schedule. Anyone have insight and a solid place to look at online? I looked at Visa Information - U.S. Embassy & Consulates in China (usembassy-china.org.cn) and didn't find any helpful information concerning the most recent outbreak.

| Is converting to GZO case number at NVC for electronic processing still a thing? |

We are in the process of getting an IR-5 for my mother-in-law. When I sponsored my spouse (2017) there was a process to request that NVC use the electronic submission system (case number converted to a GZO rather than the initial GUZ default case number) rather than being handled as a paper based submission. At the time this resulted in a much faster processing time (documentarily qualified within about 1 week, rather than several months with the paper system). I realize things have changed quite a bit since then but I don't seem to be able to find a clear answer. Does anyone know if there is still a similar process for China, or all all cases at NVC now handled electronically and they all end up in the same queue? Our new (IR-5) case just got to NVC so I'm trying to figure this out before we start submitting documents. @Crazy Cat, Do you recall this? Do you know if it (or something similar) still exists? Or did this go away when NVC went electronic for most/all cases?
