Not being able to submit inquiry about my case

Hello everybody!

Hope this post finds you all well :).

My wife and I are trying to submit an inquiry about our case, since it's out of regular processing time, according to the website: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ .

So, our data is:

- Receipt date: 06/01/2021.

- Form: I-130, US Citizen filing for a spouse.

- Service Center: Nebraska (according to our receipt notice, bottom left of the document).

- Current receipt date for a case inquiry at the moment of this post is: June 12th 2021. (range is: 4 to 7 months)

Everytime we try to submit the inquiry we get the "Your application or petition is currently within the posted processing times. An inquiry may not be created at this time."

Our receipt date is before the current receipt date for a case inquiry posted, we should be able to submit it (it's been over 7 months already).

We're very confused. We even called the USCIS customer service (1-800-375-5283), and the automated phone system is really a nightmare (confuses numbers when you say your receipt number or doesn't do anything if you dial it), then tells you to check the website.

So we're wonderign: has anyone had this issue?, what might be the problem?, if you had this issue, how did you solve it?

Post data: https://my.uscis.gov/ is down right now.

Thanks!!!!! :D:D

Interview scheduled - no birth certificate for US citizen

So we have our green card interview scheduled and just got the NOA with the date in the mail today - scheduled for Jan 15! Way sooner than expected. It says on the notice that we must bring the spouse s birth certificate in addition to the proof of US citizenship. I am the US citizen and when we applied, I only sent in copies of my US passport because I actually lost my birth certificate years ago, and for the application it said I could use either/or as proof of US citizenship. I should have probably requested a new copy of my birth certificate ages ago but I thought my US passport would suffice and wasn t thinking that much about it. I just ordered a new birth certificate today and it says it will take 8-12 weeks to process.. I know I messed up big time. My question is, should I try to reschedule the interview or show up with just my passport ? Is there a faster way to get a birth certificate ? I see some websites online but I don t know if they re credible ...

Hi,

My wife Marcela (is in process of applying for an adjustment of status for residency.

She (happily) has received her combined EAP and permission to work card.

We are going to visit my ailing parents in the UK.

When returning to the USA does she need to file the ESTA online application that is needed for visa waiver visitors?

Thanks Martin

So, I will have an interview soon at a USCIS office, and the letter says if you traveled outside the United States, you won't be allowed to enter the building unless you traveled in a personal vehicle, but it doesn't say anything about an exemption if you're fully vaccinated.

However, in the USCIS visitor's policy it says that if you're fully vaccinated, you will be allowed to enter even if you've returned to the US in the past 10 days before your appointment. I am confused

Hi, I am trying to do paper work for my mother. I need her I94 that was given 20 years ago. I went to CBP website and I requested a FOIA to get her I94. This was done last May. When I go to the website and log in my requests shows that is in the Assignment phase. What does this mean? Anybody has had this experience before? Do you know how long this take approximately? This is the only document I need to request her. Can I sent paperwork without I94? Please help!

Thank you so much!
