Hey guys! We have been waiting for our P4 for a few weeks now and we're sure when to expect it. I was trying to operate the timeline on this website again and of course i just cant figure it out. I'm not sure how to sort by most recent, so there are dates from all over the place. I managed to find someone close to ours but it still didnt seem right. It said their P3 was sent out on March 17th and then the P4 was received on March 3rd. Is there a guide on how to work the timeline or maybe a better timeline on a different site that's more intuitive and easier to navigate? We're anxious to get our P4 and get this god forsaken process over before Canada goes into another lockdown or another crazy world event comes up and this process robs more of our life away together.

We are currently at the NVC stage for our CR1/I130 Visa. On the ceac.state.gov website they have a Visa Status Check , when we enter our information we see action required: submit requested documents. We have already submitted all of our applications, money, and financial and civil documents, so we were wondering if this is just outdated/normal and it is going to say this until we have the "documentarily qualified email" or if something is wrong? We submitted everything via NVC on March 26th. Thanks!! Melissa

I entered the US in 2020 on a K1 visa and I am currently going through AOS, no green card yet. I worked for 2 months in Canada for 2020 and did not work in the US. I updated my marital status but changed my date of departure too late (will need to pay back some tax credits). As a non-resident, is there anything I need to do differently when filing taxes?

My fiance will be arriving on his K1 visa some time in May and we hope to apply for his social security card. I know that pre-Covid, K1 visa holders were able to go to a SSA office and receive a SSN but now that offices are still closed, how are people navigating this? The I-765 form asks if we need a social security number with our EAD/green card but we don't want to wait until my fiance gets his EAD for him to receive a SSN. Are people still able to get their SSN before receiving their EAD?

So, I have my case finally ready to be scheduled (as of last night). However, I never sent in a medical. I never even received a i693 deficiency notice. Do I still need a medical? Is it waived? Will the letter come eventually? Has anyone been in this situation?
