Oath scheduling taking longer than expected :/ |

Indianapolis is our local office. Passed the N400 and I751 joint interview on 1/7/25 (and got a paper that said so). Got a random letter on 2/5/25 saying that the I751 was approved (which we already knew, not sure why that took a month to send). We have received nothing for the N400, online status still says he's "in line for oath to be scheduled." (NOTE: Currently cannot add the case to our online account, as we do not have the access code anymore. I've requested a new one, but who knows when that will be sent. So I cannot see the detailed status of the case, just the general one when you type the receipt number into the box.) It has been 5 weeks since the interview and our case is not moving. Our lawyer and other sources made it sound like we'd get the letter 3-4 weeks from the interview, so we are starting to worry. My questions: - Will we be able to see the notice online without the access code?
- What is the next status after "Oath ceremony will be scheduled?" (So I know what to look for when the notice was sent or the ceremony was scheduled.)
- Any insights from others in similar situations? Anything we can do?

Hi guys! Im not aware if this question has been answered. I am a Filipino Citizen beneficiary on a work permit in Canada. Before my medical exam, I have heard about the immunizations I need to get. is it enough to show a record or card of my immunizations when I was young? My mother will send it to me here in Canada. That way, I only need to get a flu shot or updated tetanus shot. Thank you in advance!

It seems too good to be true! Am I understanding correctly that "Certain bars do not apply to an immediate relative. An adjustment applicant applying as an immediate relative may be eligible to adjust status even if: -The applicant is now employed or has ever been employed in the United States without authorization -The applicant is not in lawful immigration status on the date he or she files the adjustment application -The applicant has ever violated the terms of his or her nonimmigrant status I came to the US from Canada in 2000 to live with my Mom who was an lpr. I met my now usc husband shortly after and we moved in together. I have lived here ever since. I went back to Canada to visit once a year and was always granted reentry to the US on a visitors visa. I was never questioned any further after answering the question "what is the purpose of your visit" with the truth. That I was visiting a friend (a life partner, business partner and roomate as well but that was never brought up) and was welcomed to America for another 180 days. By 2016 my husband and I had a thriving business, two dogs and a house. I started to get more nervous that if I visited Canada that I may not be able to return to my home so for about 7 years I didn't. I had not looked into immigrating as I assumed my overstay disqualified me. Since then I have traveled out of the country 3 times always with no problem coming back and the last time I returned to the US I again was granted an 180 day B2 visa that expired Sept 24 2024. My true love asked me to marry him and October 1st 2024 we finally made it legal. I have no criminal record and have financial proof I would not become a public charge. I would love to file and finally become a lawful permanent resident. In the experienced view of my fellow visa journeyers does my case look promising or am I missing something? It really does seem too good to be true.

Hello everyone. My DQ date was January 11, 2024, and I received my interview letter for March 21. I have a question regarding RCMP police certificate. Do I need to obtain a new one for my upcoming interview? The one I submitted to NVC was issued on November 21, 2023.

I highly recommend Sonder Maisonneuve on Mackay St. Only a short walk from the consulate and beautiful, clean, like an apartment honestly. With washer dryer and full kitchen and bedrooms.
