Does this card get process by the officers at border when you travel for the first time after the visa is issued ?

Please can some one share his or experience at IV in Montreal Canada US Consular.

I have a pending I-751 applied in Mar 2024 and N-400 submitted in Mar 2025..

Just curious about email notifications I received stating "We have taken an action on your case" on May 27 and Jun 22 (it was a Sunday). When I login into the account there is no change for either applications. Interestingly under n-400 myProgress tab I see Estimated time until your case decision: 2 Weeks

Anyone getting such notifications and did it cause any real movement in the status?

Not sure how long the wait is going to be!?

Hello, My husband and I (him US citizen, Me Canadian) have been together for almost 10 years (10 years in September 2025) and have been married for almost 4 years. I am currently in the US on a TN visa we filed a i-130, i-485, and i-765. I-130 was filed online and forms i-485 and i-765 were sent via mail right before christmas. I got my fingerprints done in january and a few weeks later i got my approval for the i-765 while my i-485 was still pending. recently I got a denial for my i-485 due to a missing document. Unfortunately my husband and I are not able to afford to file for another i-485 at this time. My employment authorization was cancelled but I was able to fall back onto my TN visa as the letter stated. The form i-130 is still pending at this time. I am in a bit of a predicament since the facility (nursing home) I work for is going to transition to a new employer. We have no idea when this change will happen and when it does my TN visa will be void. The timeframe given for the i-130 has shortened from 16 months to 8 months within the past few days. If it gets approved fairly soon how long will it take for the i-485 to be approved if we wait till we have the i-130 approval? I am stuck in a tough spot with not being able to afford another i-485 filing right now and the unknown transition date for the new company to take my current place of work. I want ot have an idea of what the possibilities are even though I know it can still significantly vary.

Good day all. I've been reading the guides etc for bringing my adult son into the USA after becoming a naturalized citizen myself last year. I am very sad to see that this process could take up to 10 years or longer ? I found a thread differentiating between adult son/daughter that are already here ?? I believe it said that they file a I-485 for a green card and I file the I-130 as his sponsor. I can't seem to find more confirmation of this process. Can anyone shed further light on this ? Can He be in the USA living and working while we wait the 10+ years ? Thanks so much,
