US Immigration from Bolivia

This is so annoying, we go to the N 400 today and my wife passes all test and signs the oath of allegiance. She comes out after about 20 minutes later and asked me to come speak with the officer.

The officer says he cant make a decision because our I 751 10 year green card isn't approved (yes its not approved we are still waiting on I 751 10 year green card interview) but because my wife is eligible for citizenship we did N 400 and she took test today and passed everything and was given a piece of paper with the little X mark on it saying the English, civics and history passed.

The officer also stated we were the 3rd person today that passed but a decision couldn't be made. He also complained he was only given 20 minutes per interview.

He said we would get something in the mail but didn't say when or if we would be required to submit anything further or come back for an interview.

So now what? Do we really need to wait for the I 751 10 year green card interview? Or are they needing something or wanting to look through the I 751 10 year green card documents we sent in last year before decision?

How long is best guess before we hear something?

Im starting the Adjustment of Status process, and I have somo confussion in Form I-130 que point regarding the Form I-94 information , in one question says (((Date authorized stay expired, or will expire, as shown on Form I-94 or Form I-95 (mm/dd/yyyy) or type or print "D/S" for Duration of Status ))) As I said Ive been entering to the country a couple of times, last time this 2021, however in my online I94 is shown that my last entry was in 2018, never had any issues at the airports or anything like that.

Should I contact some offices for this or just type what the website says??? Im a little lost

Hello, has anyone filed for replacement greencard because the card had errors (USCIS) fault. When it s the USCIS fault its supposed to be at no cost. I m starting to believe if you pay money for a lost card versus not paying because of USCIS made a mistake they will ignor you because they didn t get money like a lost greencard.

I filed form I-90 in December 2020 because I believed my wife s greencard had incorrect dates on the front of the card and a USCIS error the applicant doesn t pay for a new greencard.

I have been waiting since December and all it says is things are taking longer than usual or normal and the next step is bio appointment.

I have contacted my US representative and they said they would help but that was 5 or 6 weeks ago and we still have not heard anything and it s going on 8 months.

ALL PLEASE don t ask why I didn t catch an incorrect date early on when we first received the two year greencard that s irrelevant, what s relevant is we saw an error on the card and filed I 90 for a new card and we didn t pay any money because it s an USCIS error it s been almost 8 months since filing the I 90 (remember they didn t get money like on a lost card) and still nothing from them.

I believe we are being ignored because a fault of USCIS and they didn t get anymore money from me.

So, I'm wondering....if my wife and I have a very legit financial strain, and I submit an expedition request for her EAD, wouldn't that hurt her 485 packet which, I think, is supposed to indicate whether or not I can support her with my own income if needed? Thanks for any input.

So, when my fianc arrived at her port of entry she was told to be sure she checked in with the location immigration office to let them know your address asap. Maybe I m missing something but I have never heard of this nor have I seen this step in any of the K1 immigration research I ve read in the last two years. We married within 90 days and her 485 packet, etc has been in the hands of USCIS for one month now. Maybe I m wrong but it seems the customs guy gave her bad info when she arrived that day.
