US Immigration from Argentina

Hi everyone!, I'm looking for some insight on my situation. I already filed for ROC Jan 2023, and got separated after that. We are close to reach a year separated now. In my situation separation and counseling is not an option, so I believe a waver is what I need. Since I'm waitting for the ROC interview and the gov sent me a letter stating my expired GC is extended for 2 years, that means I should ask for a waver at the interview or file one? I would appreciate some insight about how to go over this situation, as of course I will need legal advice, but at least any data that can put me in the right direction will be much appreciated, thank you!

Just a quick update, we did the process through a lawyer and 3 months after receiving DOA2 we received an email from embassy through the lawyer saying that we could schedule the medical exam, pay the fee, and then schedule the interview. In Buenos Aires, the earliast medical exam available was 2 weeks away and the earlies interview 3 weeks away, but we can't schedule the interview until they at least confirm the funds.

I m a California resident and am wondering what the household size requirements would be for the scenario where I would want to sponsor my fianc and our (currently unborn) child.

If they came here, would this indicate a household size of 3 for the purposes of financial support?

I m also wondering, if in addition to being financially responsible for my dependents for a period of 10 years, would that operate completely separately from alimony requirements in the event of a divorce? In other words, if we got divorced, would I be responsible for both the I-864 finances and also be open to her taking half of all my assets and income?

Hi all, this is my first time posting here. We have submitted our I-130 online and I just realized that a letter I attached as bonafide proof has my husband s last names switched. My father wrote the letter and presented the correct name in the title (example: John Smith Doe), but later in the letter references him as (John Doe Smith). My husband is latino and told me that this often happens with many documents over there. Is this something we should be worried about getting an RFE on? Everywhere else his name is correct. (Sorry, I am a worry wart lol) Thanks for any guidance!

The instructions for when the National Visa Center contacts the beneficiary with instructions say that the contact may be by email or mail.

Is there a default? Does it depend on what country the beneficiary will be interviewed in? I m just trying to prepare my fianc for how he will receive the instructions.
