Changing countries listed in a forum

Some of us have been discussing (in the Russia forum) adding some countries that seem to share cultural common ground. Ukraine and Belarus have been discussed among others. How do we go about getting Ewok to create an Eastern Europe, or CIS forum?

Agreed with Brad. Ukraine has much more in common with Russia than the rest of Europe.

I say Russia/Belarus/Ukraine, which is really what the Russian forum has long been informally, anyway, if you look at the flags of people who are posting. I would say that probably, many Eastern European/Central Asian countries would rather not be in with Russia and would rather just keep their own threads in Europe/Eurasia. But Russia/Ukraine/Belarus have a lot of the same kinds of off topic issues and the Russia forum already is, unofficially, Russia/Belarus/Ukraine. We never see any other countries from the CIS and Eastern Europe in the Russia forum and I would sense that they do know want Russia to annex them.

Totally agree. Russian/Ukraine/Belarus folks are all posting in the russia forum anyway and we all seem to share similar stories, flight plans etc and almost all the nonUSC speak russian at least that is what I have concluded so we should all be in the same forum er subforum.

Mox, I suggest you have Pitcairn Islands join the Russian forum. Christian and Anderson (Bounty) would have been proud members.

I agree we need a regional forum of former soviet union, not just Russia. But I also suggest we admit Ubek., Kakist., Georgia, Ossetia, Mold., Ukr., and Belarus to same regional subforum

Now then, thanks to our furry rinmaster! I just wonder about portals now. Since the portal function seems tied to the flag you attach to your profile, I guess there is no way to combine those? Again due to the common ground here, I think it would be cool to be able to view posts from members flying all three of those flags through the portal. I know you can switch portals at will, but just saying...
