I-130 APPROVED IN 21 DAYS!!!

I got my NOA2 I-130 approval in 21 days.

NOA 1 recieved 31July2008

NOA 2 recieved 25AUG2008.

But what is next?......

Do we still send the 129F? If we do need to send it...where to?

We don't know where to go from here. Wait for the NVC correspondence? Proceed with K3 VISA or go with CR1/CR2...IR1/IR2?

Seems a quick approval, we are thankful, but not sure how or why approved so quickly.

Forget about K-3, you needed to file the I-129F after I-130 NOA1, but BEFORE NOA2.

CR-1 (I-130) is the superior visa, no hasseling with Adjustment of status.

If you enter the USA on CR-1 visa, then NO AOS needed. CR-1 has the advantage of GREEN-CARD on entry to the USA, and can imediatly take a JOB, get SSN, and apply for a driver's licenence after getting SSN. K-3 CANNOT take a JOB, get SSN, or apply for driver's license until after getting EAD or Green-card. EAD can take 90 days or more.

AOS: $1010

I just got approved afte r a year or torchure, suffering, not seeing my hubby in a year and traveling to the other side of the globe to visit him after a year and getting air sick!!!!! LOL! You are lucky and blessed!!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!

We've seen various attempts to discourage render the K3 process moot. The latest is speeding up the I-130 process so it's nearly impossible to get an I-129F filed. Not long ago, we saw I-129F petitions being administratively closed when I-130s were approved. The uproar on this came legitimately from people with prospective K4 beneficiaries who hadn't filed I-130's for the children.

If it continues, this development is a significant improvement but with similar results for families planning on K4 visas and later I-130 and AOS for children.
