Saw the update from the OP and had to take back what I posted.

Best wishes OP. I hope she is able to come to London and spend some time in your environment and hopefully there's still a chance for an eventual marriage.

Best wishes to your future!

hope u guys will work things out (L)

i sometimes feel the same way about my relationship. me and my SO are both 21 and i still think its too early to get married. we both still got a lot to learn. sometimes i feel like his love is just too much for me to handle. he loves me with all his heart and he wants nuttin more than being with me for the rest of his life. for me this means leaving my friends and family behind and starting a new life. sometimes i really do feel like its to early. but marriage its the only way for us to be together. dont get me wrong i love him more than anything else in this world and i culdnt b without him cuz he is making my life complete. but getting married scares me.

Wow. Sabrina, you really need to think things over then. There is NO rush. You're both only 21. As you're German, there is obviously no economic reason why you'd want to come over to the US. I believe the relationship is the main reason for your interest in coming over. But if the marriage scares you sometimes, you definitely need to slow things down and think it over clearly.

Why not come over to study? You can get a student visa and go to univeristy here. Or vice versa. He could study in Germany. It just doesn't sound like the marriage will last given what you've said above. You're so young. Marriage is serious. Please take as much time as you need to seriously consider the consequences. You should NOT rush into marriage simply to be together because you can't be together otherwise.

I wish you the best in whatever you decide.

Make that third sentence "My SO and I.." and add an upper-case "I" to the fifth, and you're on the way.

I think Sabrina's English must have been influenced by someone else talking like that. She uses "dun" for "don't" if I remember correctly. I've never even seen that. Is that true Sabrina?

That you are the foreign fiance is irrelevant. Most of the problems with your post weren't grammatical in a "not familiar" sense, but in a "ChatSpeak" sense. ChatSpeak will bring about the end of the human race.

Sabrina, You absolutely have the right to type your words the way you want to. Cian has the right to ignore your post and check out another thread. I do not like people who try to have control over everything around them....almost bordering on being narcisstic in my opinion.

So Sabrina, do your best...type as best as you can and do not be worried by the likes of Cian. You probably speak more languages than him/her (like who cares??).

There is a difference between constructive criticism and outright ridiculing. That last post where Cian tries to correct every darn thing including capital letters makes me want to say....

So sorry to hear! :(

But maybe just take time to think, visa is available 6 months, no rush, not neccesary to go there immediately. During six months can entrance in usa, and then marry during 90 days. Its large step and sure time is needed to overthink from all sides.

All I know in the moments while waiting for NOA2 we were up and down, end and start all the time, again and again. We overcme these hard times and this only made us stronger.

This long, stressy and in some sort humiliating visa proocess surely affect relationship. And its not comfortable to be forced and pushed to marriage because of papers, its silly and hard also, its not right way how things should be.

But still all can turn well.

Oh really? I've corrected EVERY SINGLE foreign fiance on VJ? Sorry.... this is the only one. And it wasn't because of her grammar; it was because of the chatspeak. She obviously speaks English as a second language, and does it well enough to be able to use chatspeak too. What about those who can't, though? What about someone from a non-European background who might really have trouble understanding real English words, let alone chatspeak jibberish? That is my concern. That and the "who gives a sh!t" attitude that using chatspeak conveys.

Thank you for the enlightened suggestion that I piss off. May I return the favour and suggest that you engage in an impossible act of self-copulation? Yes, I think that I may.

Good day.
