Sept 10 - NOA1 date
Sept 16 - NOA1s received

2014

Feb 25 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office for processing

Feb 26 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred to my local office for processing

Feb 28 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

Mar 18 - got emails saying that the petitions are approved smile.png

Well we've been "touched" and MAULED to death.. for sure!! Our EAD was touched yesterday as well.. I have NO clue what they are doing!! I'm hoping for speed for you too Mo!!!

Hubby just had a thought on this one. I did an address change online this weekend (we moved), so i wonder if that had something to do with it all? Perhaps it resets something on the e-mails.. I dunno.. grasping at straws here!

11th October 06 - Email from USCIS - EAD Approved on 10/10! Card on the way!

16th October 06 - EAD card received!

16th October 06 - EAD Application email received confirming letter to be sent.

22nd February 07 - Email sent to USCIS requesting an update.

5th March 07 - Case touched! AOS is now "pending" at the CSC! Progress!

5th March 07 - Email from CSC confirming I am awaiting the results of the FBI name check.

27th April 07 - Email received. A notice requesting additional info has been mailed.

4th May 07 - RFE letter arrived.

21st May 07 - RFE docs returned to USCIS by mail.

6th June 07 - Email from CRIS saying RFE received and case processing has resumed!

26th June 07 - Phone call from a USCIS officer at the CSC in California asking for a copy of my I-94 by fax.

27th June 07 - InfoPass appointment at 745am.

12th August 07 - Email from CRIS - Green Card on order as of 8/11!

15th August 07 - Email from CRIS - Welcome Notice sent.

18th August 07 - Welcome Notice Received.

20th August 07 - GC received!

Is being transferred to CSC supposed to be quicker, coz that timeline looks kinda scary. There are alot of 2006 people on it.

It's supposed to be quicker.....

If you look at some on the approved list you will see there are some very quick transfers and approvals.

I feel the main benefit of being transferred is there will be no stress of an interview this time round.

okey guys, i just finshed call with a lawyer asking about EAD

anyways, she is telling me, NOWAY to get approved on k-1 visa while u been transfered to cali without interview!!!!!!

so i dont belive her, but need people with k-1 visa that transfered to cali and had no interview answer saying what happen with them!

(25 July 2009) Check Cashed

(22 July 2009) Recived NOA1

(18 Aug 2009) Biomatrics

Michael, I also had a lawyer tell me there is no way my then-fiance would be granted a k-1 visa and he is now here and we are married and I did it without any lawyer. It was my impression that several folks have been approved with k-1s and no interviews.

Michael: as far as I know, and I could be way wrong on this, but it seems that there are many, many people who were approved for GC after being transferred to CSC from a K-1 visa status w/o an interview. You should be able to determine yourself which VJers who entered on a K-1 visa by comparing the CSC transfer list (the approvals) to the respective timelines (if they are filled in).

My best advice, don't use that lawyer. She obviously isn't up to date with how a certain percentage of k-1 to GC are being processed these days, so you can just imagine the mess she would make of your case.

It's been well over a year since transfers to CSC without interviews has been happening.
