Well,am still unemployed,i have the work permit but am not yet ready to apply for job..just last monday i started to take a driving class.and maybe once i got the green card i will take a class related to my course that i finished in the philippines. My husband think that it would be better for me to continue my studies here thou am graduate of accounting in the philippines...so am not in a hurry of getting a job,and am happy that i been staying just at home while my husband is at work for i really have time to take care of the house and him.But when i get the green card it would change and i will have a lot of things to do....My work permit i got it late coz i applied just when i wanted for SS number purpose but they approved it very quick, not more than 30days i got the work permit card...when your case take so long try to get infopass and visit the nearest USCIS office in your place for they will search for your case.
