DV Lottery of K1 Visa - Can I file for both?
I applied for the DV lottery 2025 and hope to be selected this year. My fiancé and I discovered that there is a fiancé visa for the USA. Do you think if we apply for the K1 visa but are selected for the DV lottery that we can stop the fiancé visa process? What are the timelines and options here :)?

    Confused about steps after marriage
My fiancee arrived last month on K1 fiance visa and we got married yesterday. It seems from what I have seen online that I made a mistake by not getting SSN prior to marriage? I am going to the SSN office on Monday to gather more information... also worried about employment authorization and travel authorization(s). Thanks for any insights!

Tourist visa cancelled by CBP agent. Can we still get a CR1 or K1 Visa?
Upon my gf's most recent arrival, her tourist visa was cancelled at the airport due to her frequent visits last year and suspicion of working here. She was denied entry and sent back same day. Is a CR1 or K1 visa process an option still? I would appreciate any advice or tips you can provide!

I hope someone can answer this question. My Filipina wife and I applied for a CR-1 visa in the Philippines. From the time I sent in the I-130 to now, it s been a total of 18 months. It took one year for the I-130 to be approved by the USCIS, and now it has been 7 months since the NVC approved the application and all of the subsequent documents. We re still waiting for the appointment time for the interview. Does anyone know what the current wait time is at the US Embassy in Manila for the interview for the CR-1? Thank you!

Is it recommended to pay in separate checks or consolidate in one check when applying for these four?

    I-485: $1,440

    I-864: $0

    I-131: $630

    I-765: $260

Would be $2,330 altogether . Please let me know if I got an amount wrong. I'm so stressed! Also, are there any other forms that I might be missing? We got married from K-1 and looking to move onto the AOS journey.

    I-130 Filing Concerns

    Hi there

I am in the process of filing I-130 for my wife and got few major stumbling blocks that I would highly appreciate if you guys can provide some insight.

First about my employment history that I need to provide in I-130 as petitioner. I am an LPR, originally from India. Last few years I've spent in Malaysia doing independent IT consulting projects and have just now moved back to US about 3 months ago to take up FT employment here. Would it bear any negative effects on my I-130 petition having these multiple employers with breaks of 2 - 4 weeks in between projects?

My wife is from Pakistan and I went there in January to get married but we haven't lived together since then. No joint bank accounts, property, apartment lease etc. I did add her name to my US employer's health insurance and as beneficiary for life insurance. Have some photos from time of our wedding and few days that we spent together afterwards. What other ways can I provide proofs of a genuine relationship in this case? With no social sec. #, am not sure I can add her to my bank account.

Wife has B2 multiple entry visit visa valid till 2029 and she has just arrived to stay with me. She's got 6 months stay but will have to go back sooner as she's got 3 months leave from her job there, she doesn't want to quit until she can stay in the US long term without hindrance. From reading related threads here, seems like right now taking minimum of 6-8 months to even longer for I-130 approvals. To answer the question on I-130 whether the beneficiary will opt for AOS or IV visa abroad, can I for now select IV abroad option and then when the time comes, if she happens to be in the US, I can petition to move the case back to USCIS for AOS? I know there's always the risk of running into problems at port of entry with an immigrant petition pending. There are many variables at play that I am having hard time figuring out the best way to answer this question and also the best strategy for wife to be able to visit me in the US on regular basis until I-130 has been adjudicated. Can someone who's been through similar situation, kindly share their experience and suggestions. Would be greatly appreciated folks.

I'm about to submit my I-485 and also planning to go the same for I-765 and I-131.

Is it recommended to submit them altogether or do the I-765 and I-131 online?

I file a K1 visa for my husband in 2021 and they refuse him, because of controlled substance and they gave 212 (a) (2) (a) (i) (ii), they claim he is inadmissible. we got married in July 2021 of the same year. and I file an I 130 in 2023, waiting on a response, I'm worried if they will denied me again.

2 years late to file I-751
I am two years late in filing my I-751 form. Here’s the situation:
      - We completely overlooked this particular form.
      - After my initial green card expired, we applied for the I-90, which has been in process for two years.
      - With the extension they provided, I was able to travel and receive my driver's license.
      - In April this year, I filed for the N-400.
      - During this entire time, I received no communication from USCIS regarding missing documentation.
      - Today, at my naturalization interview, I learned I was supposed to file the I-751.
      - After some back and forth with the officer, he still conducted my interview. He mentioned that since I am married and have children, I should not have a problem, and he asked me to submit an affidavit of explanation plus supporting documents.
      - Later today, I received a letter in my portal asking for "missing documents," specifically the I-751. They gave me four days to provide evidence of the I-751 acceptance or processing status.
I am unsure of what to do. Please help and advise.
