This is getting ridiculous...I called USCIS again. They received the RFE info...seems some people get an answer asap...we haven't gotten so much as a touch. She told me to try back in 60 days. So, yeah, we do that and by the time we get an answer our petition is no good because we have surpassed the 90 days. Thinking I should cancel and just go through the K3...at least we would be married.

Hi Jamie. I am not sure I understand - what is the 90 day period you are referring to? What is its significance?

I am seriously considering cancelling as well. Might be time for me to move to England.

Thanks.

Jamie, I just saw your other posting. I am sorry that things are not working out. This is tragic. No need to answer my questions.

I hope everything works out for you. Best wishes to you both.

Am I the only one still not approved???????? :help::help::crying::crying::crying::crying::help::help:

nope Steph I am still waiting with you....no touch nothing........I think I have no more tears..........

Steph, Ric, Melinda, and all others waiting..........

You are not alone...we are all here for you...Im not going anywhere or giving up this battle for reform just because we have noa2. We have to go BACK through AOS through this center and there HAS to be something done to make it better. Better information, better communication, a complaint "process", there has to be a more organized way to do this when its overwhelming. This isnt' right what has happened and my senators will still get a letter from me...not on my behalf but for all those waiting. Keep writing, keep the pressure on and NEVER GIVE UP...........

I have not been on VJ - - so I totally missed ur NOA2!!!!!! HOOOOORAAHHHHHHHHHHHH I am so so happy for u and ty for ur kind words...feeling a bit discouraged....I keep checking my status online...I though for sure w/all th ose touches I would have a NOA2....but nope...one day right one day...

Thanks. It's okay. I'm .. i'm not going to say I'm content to wait, but I'm okay with it. (which totally doesn't mean that I'm not checking my status every few hours!) I'm pretty sure the only way the system is going to help me is if I just wait for it to get to me. My congressman was no help whatsoever and promised no additional help until January. I could ask Hilary to sic a minion on them, but I'm fairly sure that'd get me the same result. 'It's with an officer. you'll hear in a few weeks at least'

So I will wait. Just like waiting from visit to visit. One day at a time on the bad days, one week a time when things are going well. And Pete's gathered his documents that prove he's going to go home, and he'll be here in two weeks. We will get approved, one day or another.

If it goes a week or two out of six months then I'll reconsider my stance on waiting, but .. Byron was approved at like 181 days. Maybe I will be too.

I really thought it was bizarre that that's what I thought when I thought it though. Not, oh ####### what happened to my alarm, or oh no! where's the phone to call in and let them know I'd be there as soon as I could-- no. USCIS doesn't know I need my alarm Pete. My brain boggles sometimes.

I'm glad you FINALLY got yours- especially since you have so much time on the other side of the approval. (and hey at least we don't have the NVC wait times like CSC. Small favors right?!)

Dont be scared Steph...this means that once they get your information they can proceed with your approval..thats nothing to fear. God never gives us more than we can handle. If you believe in prayer...PRAY. You are strong...I can feel it in your posts.

It says in 1 John 4:18, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”

Isaiah 41:10, “Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

In Psalm 56:11 the psalmist writes, “In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.”

I hope these can help..read them when u feel afraid....We are here for you
