Two June filers reported today!!!!!!!!! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe they will focus on JUNE. Out of the 55 or more reported last month...11 or so were June...Lets just hope they focus on June for a bit...April and May to............

I am hoping the officer that approved the two June ones today have our file!!!!

I think we'll hear something by the end of the week, at least. If they weren't just making things up to get us off the phones, I figure even a slow adjudicator can't take seven days to get thru a crate, no?

D*mn I thought today might be the day but nothing, nada, zilch..........I called Dept of Homeland Security and was put on hold for 26 minutes then Oscar called so I had to get off....I am getting ready to call again now......anybody else call??????

Also, has anyone gone ahead and filed the DHS Form 7001? They say to send this in if you are experiencing process delays that extend past what they promote.

In 2 weeks I'[ll be at the 6 month mark. But I have a call in to an immigration attorney that worked 12 years as an adjudicator

I called USCIS today and I got a contradictory message. First of all, they told me the usual unhelpful answer "We are now processing April 29, next week we will probably start processing May applications."

Then they told me that our application is in security check. What does that mean? Does that mean they have started processing our application? We have had no touches since June 14 (NOA June 5).

I thought about it, but it says it takes several weeks to get a response. I guess I'm still deluded enough to think that I'd get a response by then...

The worst part is.. they said it was an adjudicator.... how long do I believe them, when day after day go by with not even a touch? Or are they just saying that to get me to hang up, you know?

That is the OLDEST petition they have that is not completed. If you are in security check then your case has been assigned to an adjudicator. There is a back log in security checks. Hang in there...you are being worked..Im sure.

I just spoke to Senator Webbs offices. Very nice man there that represents the senator...said...

Security checks are backlogged..making the process longer. In addition, the senators (at least here) are WELL aware of the issues and is sure they will be discussing it when congress reconvenes in January. I explained that its not the backlog that concerns me but that those petitions from April, may and june that are waiting should be expedited since those wren't even touched..while they are process MID AUGUST!!! He said if I hear nothing by weeks end, to call and they will open a case for me. Find out exactly WHERE in the process my petition is.

This is getting ridiculous...I called USCIS again. They received the RFE info...seems some people get an answer asap...we haven't gotten so much as a touch. She told me to try back in 60 days. So, yeah, we do that and by the time we get an answer our petition is no good because we have surpassed the 90 days. Thinking I should cancel and just go through the K3...at least we would be married.
