Whew - it feels good to have that out of my hands and finally begin the wait! I showed the finished petition package to my father and he said it looked like a thesis (and he is a university professor!) I told him that it felt like I had prepared a thesis. I'm sure you all can relate :)

Anyway, just wanted to share my excitement! :dance:

AOS Timeline:

- 06/30/2009: Filed for AOS/EAD/AP

- 07/02/2009: AOS packet received

- 07/08/2009: Check cashed

- 07/10/2009: Received all 3 NOA1s

- 07/14/2009: Received biometrics appt.

- 07/29/2009: Case transferred to CSC

- 08/01/2009: Advanced Parole Documents Issued

- 08/06/2009: Biometrics appointment completed

- 08/11/2009: EAD issued (received 8/14)

- 11/12/2009: AOS approved

- 11/20/2009: Green Card in hand!

09/28/2007 : NOA2 (144 days from filing date)

11/02/2007 : NVC Received Case (35 days from NOA2)

11/06/2007 : NVC Sent Case to HCM Consulate

11/16/2007 : HCMC Received Case

11/17/2007 : HCMC Sent Packet 3

11/20/2007 : HCMC Received Packet 3

12/10/2007 : HCMC Called Fiancee (Packet 4 Sent + Interview Date)

12/18/2007 : Packet 4 Received

01/02/2008 : Medical Appointment

01/09/2008 : Interview passed!

01/29/2008 : Visa Received

02/02/2008 : POE @ SFO

Officially Engaged December 24th, 2007!!!

Moved to the U.S. to be with my baby on July 19th, 2008 on a K1 visa!!!!

12/6/06: CDJ Interview - Denied - I-601 Waiver Required

12/18/06: I-601 filed

8/6/07: Waiver Approval

9/4/07: Open Appointment Letter Rcvd (postmarked 8/31/07 from Texas)

11/21/07: AOS Interview - Approved - Hubby is Legal Permanent Resident (Conditional)

11/23/07: Registered Customer's new permanent resident status (Online Case Status)

11/25/07: Touched - Production of EAD ordered (Online Case Status)

11/26/07: On November 26, 2007, we ordered production of your new card (Green Card).

11/28/07: Received EAD Card!

11/30/07: Received Welcome to the U.S. Letter

You should be overjoyed at starting the process. I remember for us, it took alot to get to that point! For sure, if you don't start....then you don't finish. Now you're journey has started. Before you know it, you will be passing many milestones, NAO1/NA02, Embassy Visa Interview/Move to America/driver's license/Social security number/Adjustment of Status/Green Card.

In your life, everyday is important. This visa journey may highight the importance!

God's blessing to you, and my prayers to you, for the best of immigration proceedings. In the end, you will be successtul!
