Getting On His Wick: Monk Gets Candle Stuck In #######

“HE did a very stupid and shameful thing,” says a Romanian “monastry source” to the Daily Sport. The man with the tonsure is speaking of trainee monk Dumitru Ilie who is said to have got “hammered” and spent the night a woman he met at a party. A woman who may or may not have been a nun.

In the morning Dumitru awoke full of regret and with candle wedged up his #######. Says the doctor who treated him: “I have no idea how he managed to do that but it looked extremely painful.” Albeit unlit…

This may be a sign that a life of celibacy is not for him.

Charles, how did I know that you'd be the first to reply to this topic???

And you always know just the right way to sum up a situation as awkward as this!

The source link didn't work for me. Is it known if he himself inserted the candle or was it the woman who did it?

Sorry! I can't get the link to work. Ugh. Anyway its this: http://www.anorak.co.uk/strange-but-true/177498.html

But the whole story is in the text above. Not too much detail, which may be a good thing in this situation.

That's what I call a sticky wicket, Eric.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Ouch!

A friend of mine is a doctor in the ER and she sees things, oh dear.

Apparently people stick all kinds of stuff in all kinds of body holes...I remember this story about a guy who stuck a pine tree twig up his #######. But he couldn't pull it back out because the needles on the twig were getting stuck and it stopped the twig from being removed.

Not a good idea.
