Just wondering if it is just me but I am still waiting for my NOA2. I sent in my I-129F on 7/10/07 to Vermont Center and it is 11/14/07. Over 4 months and still waiting. I see that some people here have sent in their after me and they have recieved their NOV2 already. Should I wait a few more days or give them a call and chase it down?

Thanks

Vietnam07,

I'd give it a couple more weeks - you're still within the expected time-range - of course you can call if you like, but expect a similar answer. Keep in mind, there may be others who got through before you (who sent the packaged after you) but there are others still waiting who sent their package before you.

If you look at the "Waiting for your NOA2 from VSC for I-129f" thread, you will find many people in your same situation. There are many filers from both May & June through VSC still waiting. I'm at day 115. They haven't really touched July filers. A few CSC filers have been approved, though. If you call them they'll just tell you that they are processing petitions from April and keep waiting.

This journey is all about waiting and waiting and waiting some more. Good luck!

I know it's frustrating, but there's not really much you can do but wait. Even when you call them, they will tell you it can "take up to 180 days". In any case, I do hope you will have your NOA2 soon. Good Luck!

I'm waiting for NOA2 as well. I haven't had any touches or anything. So I'm still just waiting waiting waiting. I sent my petition in June. So I'm at 5 months. Next month is 6 months. I pray I hear something by then. I'm amazed it takes them so long.

It took 145 days for me to get my NOA2, and after that, it took another 38 days to get my approval forwarded to NVC.

I understand that it's confusing that some people may get it earlier. I have a guy turn in his paper work 2 weeks before me and now he already gets his interview set up, when my NOA2 has not even reached the NVC (?). Well I guess we should be happy for those who got their process moved faster.

I think it's still a good idea to call to ensure they don't lose your paper work somewhere else.

Good Luck!

I haven't had any touches either, since June 27th when they sent NOA1. I just hope that my NOA2 is in the mail, even if the computer email never comes I just want to be approved.

That was exactly how I found out I was approved. No touches, but received snail mail. So it does happen. Good Luck!

Salaam Rachid,

Us, too... no touches since we filed. But we are August filers, so I think, unfortunately, we are going to have to wait longer.
