im just sort of guessing, but i think it is directly related to the amount of new topics you start...i think those are worth a certain amount and replies are worth a little bit of a lesser amount...say 5 new topics = one blue box and 20 replies = one blue box...get it? im not sure, but thats what ive always thought...i think you get to make your name once you have reached the maximum blue box amount, and then they begin with the hearts...the hearts are just the next step when you have already recieved all the boxes that you possibly can...thats my take anyhow

To start with every 100 posts gives you a blue box and a new title until you get to 500(?) when you become a gold member.. You then have to get 750 to get your last blue box and become platinum and then 1000 to get your first heart. You get a new heart after every 1000 posts after that?

Is that correct?

OK, so I'm not trying to accrue as many boxes and titles as I can or anything, but I'm just curious how the whole ranking structure on this site works. Like I have four boxes now and am ranked "Member" I believe. How do the boxes increase? What do the hearts inside the boxes mean? When does one get to make their own crazy title? Just wondering because I can't make sense out of it right now
