Hi

My Case case was completed and sent to Montreal on 15th June, I read that it takes max 4 months to get interview and was so hoping

to get my interview on Oct, that didn't happen. Anyways hoping to get some good luck for November.

Anyone here going thru the same situation ??

I hear that, miss. My case was completed four days after yours, and I'm hoping for a November interview. I would be very surprised to not get one since a number of those who completed their cases in early June are October interviewees.

I live in the snow belt, and I'll have to drive through a major U.S. snow belt PLUS mountains to get to where I'm going, so I'm hoping it's not any later!

Kinda disapointing to see no names on the bottom of that list have any interview dates scheduled. No interviews scheduled in Montreal(Minus Cndwife) Lets hope those names get dates soon!

Hey everybody waiting I just checked when I got my interview date and it was this day last month. So be ready as I had less than 3 weeks to my interview! I hope all the June group get to finish this

Me neither . . . at this point I'm assuming that Montreal has fallen behind even further and I won't see a December appointment. How it can end up taking them 3 months to get through the June case co

NOA #2: Approval June 25th, 2009 - 92 days

NVC

July 8, 2009 to August 10, 2009 - 28 days

Interview Assigned - December 3, 2009 - FINALLY!!

Medical - December 14, 2009 - Passed

Embassy/Interview - January 26, 2010 Montreal, Quebec Canada - 167 days PASSED!!!

Port of Entry - February 26, 2010 Baltimore International, Maryland

USCIS -- ROC package sent off

November 26, 2011 to Vermont station November 30, 2011 received NOA1December 16, 2011 received biometrics appointment.

January 04, 2012 Biometrics

September 2, 2012, RFE Received.

September 22, 2012 RFE responded to

October 15, 2012 ROC approved, 10 Green card on its way.

Sounds like she might be K filer...just out of curiosity I called NVC's AVR to see what is would say about my case and to my surprise the message changed from 'Your case was completed on....Please allow up to 8 weeks for further instructions" to "Your case was completed and forwarded to consulate general in MTL on..." So I just checked DHL reference for that date and found out something interesting...whereas other consulates get 1lbs-2lbs packages, MTL gets packages that are 5-6lbs almost on a daily basis...that kinda shows that they do keep themselves busy...

Yes. It took 144 days for us to get an interview date (completed June 4th, interview October 26th). You will almost certainly be November. But the waiting is endless . . .

Congrats steve, and thanks for your reply... hope i am lucky for november.

Sorry guys I forgot to mention CR1 visa..... and I was told that after the completion of my case it was sent to Montreal and that

I will rcv some packet (medical forms@ other paper work) after my interview is scheduled ... still waiting :(

Hi,

Yes that's true, eventually they do send it to Montreal, after your interview is scheduled (technically a couple of weeks before your interview).

If you could fill in your timeline it's really helpful for that statistics that are kept on visa journey. To do this just click on the My Assistant link near the top right hand side of this page and then on Edit / Add my timeline :)

2007-07-27 – Case complete at NVC waiting on the world or at least MTL.

2007-12-19 - INTERVIEW AT MTL, SPLIT DECISION.

2007-12-24-Mom's I-551 arrives, Pop's still in purgatory (AP)

2008-03-11-AP all done, Pop is approved!!!!

I filed DCF, and am currently waiting for my wife and son's interview letter. They just went back to canada on wednesday and it really, really sucks being apart from my family. My heart just sank reading that the october interviews are all scheduled.

US born, Canadian raised, Irish Blood.
