So I got my USCIS Welcome letter today, along with another 'receipt notice' which looked eerily familiar to the NOA2. It came in a separate envelope, does anyone know what exactly this is?

Grats on the welcome letter! That NOA should be for your green card I believe.

Kinda disapointing to see no names on the bottom of that list have any interview dates scheduled. No interviews scheduled in Montreal(Minus Cndwife) Lets hope those names get dates soon!

Hey everybody waiting I just checked when I got my interview date and it was this day last month. So be ready as I had less than 3 weeks to my interview! I hope all the June group get to finish this

Me neither . . . at this point I'm assuming that Montreal has fallen behind even further and I won't see a December appointment. How it can end up taking them 3 months to get through the June case co

Just got my Packet 4 a couple of days ago and booked my interview for July 12! Woohoo! There were about 9 days open in April to book but that was just WAY too soon for us...too much to get done before we move. I was hoping for late May/early June, but July works. At least I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

One of the other people in the DCF forum couldn't see the 9 days I was talking about, anyone know why some people have certain dates available to them??

Started LDR with hubby July '04, married Nov '06

He moved and became permanent resident of Canada Nov '07

Now, we want to move back to his hometown in Illinois!

Filed DCF for IR1 Visa

I-130 sent to Toronto Embassy: September 12, 2010

Initial approval at Toronto Embassy: November 19, 2010

Packet 3 rec'd January 28, 2011

Packet 4 rec'd March 21, 2011

Medical May 16, 2011

Interview July 12, 2011 - Approved!

Visa/Passport picked up DHL July 22, 2011

POE date August 26, 2011

2010-03-27: I-130 sent

2010-09-23: NOA2

NVC: (93 days)

2010-10-06: NVC Case Number assigned

2011-01-05: SIF and Case Completion!

2011-02-15: Medical in Toronto

2011-03-07: Interview approved (335 days from NOA1)

2011-03-10: Passport received

2011-03-19: POE - Buffalo, NY

2011-03-28: SSN received

2011-03-31: USCIS Welcome

2011-04-05: Conditional Green Card received

2012-11-30: Notice to file I-751 received

2012-12-12: I-751 (Remove of Conditions) sent

2013-08-16: Conditions removed. 10 year Permanent Resident Card received

I believe there should be a number on the NOA so you could check the status of your GC on USCIS's website (like your I-130).

I believe there should be a number on the NOA so you could check the status of your GC on USCIS's website (like your I-130).
