I don't like the taste of lamb but I always try it if someone makes it in a way I've never had before just to make sure I don't like it. my husband loves it but it's so expensive here compared to England

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

When Lamb is done wrong it does have a "smelly feet" smell to it..

I had a friend who had a Restaurant called "Out of Africa".. there were days when her lamb was amazing.. other day it STUNK BAD..

But had it in England with Mint Sauce.. My great Auntie ordered an entire gravy boat of it for me- and told me to dump the whole thing on my meal "the only way to eat lamb" she said..

It was out of this world amazing... droooll...

I'm still scared to cook it myself.. afraid i'll make the smelly feet kind of lamb.. :(:help:

I dunno about this smelly feet thing. I've never experienced that and I've been eating lamb my whole life. How do you do lamb wrong, except if you undercook it, or it's not fresh to begin with? There really isn't any magic to it.

Yum, my favourite. It is not at all popular around these parts, so every time we go to the supermarket (Meijer) we check out the legs and often get them reduced cos no-one else wants them! I paid $16 for a whole leg recently at full price, which is not bad at all.

ive been veggie since i was 17(20 years ago) but even as i kid i wouldnt eat lamb, i used to tell my dad(who was a butcher at the time) im not eating baby lambs, i want to save their lives, and he used to laugh at me sayin they are already dead Hayley. One day when i was about 13 he served me what i thought was a lamb chop, and i said this taste funny, all the way thru dinner he kept laughing at me, then afterwards told me i had just eaten a lamb chop. I ran to the bathroom and threw up, never trusted him with pork chops again after that.

Yum! 99.9% of Kiwi's eat roast lamb at least once a week.

My fav way of cooking it is using a weber BBQ. 20 mins before it is ready, put a couple of spoons of mint jelly and a couple of brown sugar in the microwave to make a paste and baste the lamb with this twice. Serve with mint sauce.

Since I use a weber, I do my vegies in as well. Wrap a slice of bacon around corn on the cob in tinfoil and throw on with potatoes, sweet potatoe and any other vegies you want with it. They taste so much nicer cooked in the weber.

Oh that cow tounge was hillarious! And the What the He!!?

People are right when they tell you lamb is good in curry. The best lamb in my whole life was made in Kristiansand, Norway at an Indian Food Resturant run by Vietnamese. Don't ask me how they did it but the place was amazing and the lamb curry to die for! Seriously eat it in a curry and the fear will float away after it melts on the tastes buds! And have some brew with it while you're at it.

At the daycare when the kids didn't want to eat something they're not used to we tell them take three bites for cultural experience. LOL!

Let us know how it goes!

You're not supposed to eat the specimens.
