Thank you! :D

I should also say this but I don't know if it would help people, yesterday the guy interviewing said that he noticed I filed in November and mentioned that they're really starting to speed everything up "over there". So hopefully everyone will be getting good news soon as well.

I got my EAD card last week in mail. However, my AP was approved the day before, and I haven't received it yet. Is that normal, or should I contact someone ASAP or wait for it to come? It's been 2 weeks since the approval. We are getting ready to get tickets to fly back to Finland for our wedding ceremony, and I should have the papers on hand by then

Or can I just use the e-mail that it's been approved going out of the country? :innocent:

My EAD card came a week later than my advance parole papers (which came a week and a half after the approval) and the dates on both documents are the same. I wouldn't suggest using the email for going out of the country; I'd wait for the AP documents before booking flights if possible.

Just the opposite: the AP came a week later than the EAD. AP status on the USCIS website still says pending, too.

Nothing, not even a touch, on the AOS status on USCIS since the biometrics in December.

Melyssa and Aaron Marie: Thanks so much for the replies. (F) Now I know that they can be approved the same day and still come a week apart :)

It's been 2 weeks since the AP was approved. My hubby called USCIS; they didn't say anything except what's on the case status search and he will contact a senator on Monday if nothing happens. We've got the church booked and the party planned... :S

Our AOS was touched once after the Bio, but nothing since then.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for all of us :) Once again, thanks for the replies :)

Please add me to the list of November filers. We are still anxiously awaiting the status of our I485 still not on line. Our daughter would age out in July so that adds more concern for a "normal" timeline. We spent 3 months in administrative review on K-1 last year and hope not to repeat this same drama. Thanks.

Please add us to the November filers timeline. We are still awaiting status of I485. Not on line yet. AP and EAD received for wife and daughter. Hoping for a "normal" timeline as my step-daughter turns 21 in July and could age out. Hope we don't get caught up for long time like we did in K-1 process (3months administrative) review.

"National Benefits Center" it says, so yep! We have the interview scheduled for April 29th. I wasn't expecting anything else to happen until then. Am I wrong?

Congrats on the GC!!!!

And our AOS was transferred to California right before the Biometrics, I think, before Dec 20th. It was last touched Jan 24th, but nothing happened. They must've dropped it on the floor or something :hehe:
