I think maybe the approval notice mailed actually means the card was mailed. But your guess is as good as mine.

2007/11/19 - NOA1 Notice date, I-130, I-485, I-765

11/09/07 - applied for SSN & got it (with married name!)

11/15/07 - package received

11/19/07 - NOA1 received for I-485, I-765, I-131 (snail mail)

11/20/07 - SSN card arrived in mail

11/20/07 - touch (I-131)

11/24/07 - notification for biometrics received (dated Nov. 20)

12/04/07 - Biometrics appointment

12/05/07 - touch (I-485, I-765)

12/21/07 - touch (I-485 transferred to CSC)

01/04/08 - touch (I-485)

01/06/08 - touch (I-485)

01/08/08 - EAD approved, card production ordered

your SSN should arrive in less than 2 weeks. Mine took 7 busines days to arrive.

Now I can be TWICE as happy. EAD card production ordered... again... Makes "total" sense. :unsure:

But hey, who am I to complain. "Multiple touches are better than no touches".

Congratulations!

Re the SSN, my wife applied yesterday and they told us 10 days to get the card but she can go back to the office Monday to get something verifying her new number. Just knowing the number should be good enough for most purposes.

day after day i am getting good and great news................

my wife interview is schedule for mar 27, 2008...............damnnnnnnnnnn thats really a amazing news for us :unsure: :unsure: :dance: :dance:

never got a touch on I-485 but when i came back from outside today...................i got a mail from USCIS saying my interview is schedule.................

cant believe the truth.................damnnnnnnnnnnn...............

what are the thing do we have to carry on that particular day...........

Congrats on your interview sau! And congrats to everone who received EAD!!

Ozzy tried to go early to EAD biometric appt (scheduled for tomorrow)...however, I shoulda known that, being a government office, USCIS would be closed on a Monday...DOH! :blink:

Ah well, he'll be going back again tomorrow...write it off as a little driving practice for him... :hehe:
