Hello everyone, l am still here.

l want to tell you that my case is not yet in NVC.

My husnband called USCIS today and they told him that the paperworks are being sign off by an investigating officer and when that is done they send off the case, that they have alot of paperwork to deal and very little staff.

He asked if there is anything wrong with our case and she said nothing was wrong, that this is part of the process.

l am so sad now, after 232 days to be approved we are still there. Should l be worried, is this normal that an investigating officer has to sign the paperworks after being approved.

Please somebody there knows anything about this.

l feel very sad.

SUPERNOVA NEW PROFILE

So many thecnical problems, lost completely my acess to my original account, I am gonna ask for Captain helps to recover it or maybe delete the old one as i do not have access to the email linked to the account either.

Well ! What i really want to share with you all is that We got APPROVED last 18th December.

I am going to post our review as soon as possible

It was a kind of opperation to go to the interview as we live 6 hours far from the American Embasy in Rio de Janeiro.

My husband had to work on line from there then no time to enjoy the beauty of the city.

We are back home now and very happy for being APPROVED.

Thank you guys for all the support ! and I am so sorry for the password incident.

Ahmad,

I wouldn't worry just yet. NVC may be going slow due to the holidays. Officially they are open, but lots of things slow down around the holidays as everyone moves slower and waits for next year. I would hold out hope that your docs will go out in the next few days. If it hasn't gone out by Dec. 26th, then they should be able to tell you if you are being held over for added checks.

Urge,

I called today at 1pm to see if my petition has been sent out to Morocco.. and they say that it is still being processed. I wondering if they are doing furthing security checks because this is the 5th day but she didn't say that it was being held over for further check she just said that it still being process to go out. Do you think that the Consulate has it?

i'm starting to worry alittle. I see most of us cases are leaving out in the 2 to 5 day range.

Faith,

You are still at the USCIS, so you really can't trust the misinformation line. It could just be waiting in the staging area to be sent and everything is probably normal. Call them back again and see if they tell you something different. You might get stuck at another check at NVC or embassy, but further check after approval at USCIS CSC sounds hard to believe. Either it is waiting to send or was sent and not yet in the NVC system. Maybe needs a resend. Call back, good luck

Thanks G&A! But it really makes no difference on here (I don't apply to the timeline anymore, but I still have one).. I'll be going in on December 26 to figure out what is wrong.. she did say I can add more evidence if I wanted to.. so I'll bring more emails, wedding pictures, phone records ( + Skype records ), pay stubs, and even my parents.. they can vouch for me that my wedding is real.. sheesh... they can do the interview right there if they want to..
