Congrats :dance::thumbs:

Did the NOA2 for the I130 say they were transferring it to NVC (asking based on your signature). If so, then you are into the CR1 process. You can designate your USC husband as your choice of agent using DS-3032 (this can be done via email) so that he will receive the IV fee bill and AOS fee bill and can pay them for you. Otherwise, you will have to deal with international mailings (which are at least slower than domestic US mail, and at the worst altogether unreliable). If you used a lawyer, then the lawyer will be the agent automatically and get all the mailings.

If your I129F is approved and forwarded to NVC, your husband will get a notice that they received and forwarded it to the embassy with the case number. From there, you would be getting the packet of instructions and forms on applying for the K3.

Hello to All!!! Finally we got our approvall too..we got the NOA2 today...but only for the I-130 stll waiting for the I-129...inshallah soon...

I dont know exactly what happen form now..if any of you can explain a little for me...

So now NVC will send the packages ??? to who? to me as beneficiary or to my hubby petitioner?

My hubby (USC) should expectany other mail??? or I will receive now all the packages...?

thanks if anybody can help me !!!

good luck to all!

Ed,

KevFabi looks to be CR1 for now. They will have more interactions with NVC then a mere forward to embassy! There I129F is unapproved

Ed,

Ok, I did not look at their timeline to see it was 3 months from filing I-130 to filing the I-129F. If the I-129F (K3) does not get approved within the next couple os days, then maybe KevFabi will be lucky enough to chose between the two petitions.

Urge... let me get it right... after approval and NOA2 received in mail... do we have to do anything? Or just wait for NVC to send us something? When do we send affidavit of support? When and where do we send... and what !? :) i'm so confused

Who knows what's next after approval?!?

After approval we may be waiting up to 6 weeks in the mail room to be sent to the NVC (I'm really really hoping it's shorter than that). If you are going with the I129F then the petition will come and go through NVC within 1-2 weeks of their receiving it, with no interaction needed from you.

It will then be shipped to the embassy. It is this stage that you require your affidavit of support (for a K3 it is generally the I-134 but it can vary by embassy, so you should check with them and be sure).

At this point, I have my vaccination records ready, my criminal record (lack of!) applied for and should get it back within the next 20 days (ish). My mother in law is in the process of sending off for the tax transcripts she'll need for the affidavit of support, as is Josh. I already have a folder of bits and peices that I am putting together as my evidence so I'm trying to be as organised as possible for when the interview time comes.

But even with all that, it is a waiting game until it hits the embassy and they start work on the petition

Sorry if this has been asked before Torito, but what did your NOA2 for the I130 say? It looks as if both of your petitions were approved on the same day (which generally means that your I130 will be held for AOS and only the I129F will continue on). Did the NOA2 mention that your spouse was in the US? If it did, then you are going the K3 route and would have to send off a form to kick-start your I130 again.

KevFabi had only their I130 approved at this time which is how they are continuing with the CR1 :)

I know that statement sounds strange (as we all know we are not in the States at this time) but it is actually the wording on the official NOA2 for when they are holding the I130 for AOS. So you really should ask your wife to check the NOA2s wording :)
