Thanks for the congratulations, Susie :D I will be so happy when the passport is delivered back to me :) Josh and I are on schedule to celebrate our first wedding anniversary together <3

Hi Cheryl,

I was just looking at your chart and I am missing off of the chart. I was approved on Jan. 9, 2008, and I am still waiting for my petition to be forwarded to the NVC. This week marks one month since approval, so if it doesn't show up sometime this week, I will be calling USCIS (God I really didn't want to talk to them anymore) to see if they have released my K3 petition. I see where it has taken some around a month to make it to NVC, so trying to be patient. So please add me to your chart.

Thanks,

Deb

You're on there Deb, unfortunately, 4th from the bottom though because of USCIS being useless :( Keep your hopes up, your petition will move forward and make it's way onto the NVC. USCIS just have a hard time letting go ;)

129F and 130 are approved on Jan. 31 and today, we got the approval letter in our mail box.

But there is no instruction on it how our cases will go on....

my questions are:

will we get anything from NVC? Is there any truck number(case number) for the NVC?

my wife think the Embassy will inform me about the next step, but I don't think so!!!

I would like to know the next steps of our journey?

thank you!

Congatulations!

The service center will forward your approved I-129f petition to NVC. This has been taking anywhere from 10 to 30 days plus. NVC will mail you a letter notifying you of your new case number and that your petition will be forwarded to the Embassy. Most VJers wait about two weeks and start calling the NVC to see if their petition was received.

The next step will depend upon your Embassy.

Amoro,

The $1010 is the fee for Adjustment of Status & Employment Authorisation which you will have to apply for when you arrive in the US (after the K3 in granted). It is the process that will get you your green card.

The NVC only has an active role in the I130 process (where it can stay there for 4-6 months), the I129F is only there for a few days.

If your I129F NOA2 states that it is being forwarded to the NVC, then the NVC needs nothing from you. All you need to do is compile all the necessary paperwork for the embassy (birth certificate, police record, marriage certificate, proof of relationship etc) and pay a $131 fee at the interview.

G&A,

I have updated your date on my chart and aim to update it on the site after we hear from Edp333 on how his wife's interview goes tomorrow (6th) :)

Thank you C&J,

your answer was very clear...

did Embassy call you or write you when your case was in the embassy? Could you check your case in the NVC online with your (nvc)case number?

I need to know when my case will go into the NVC in and when will come from the NVC out?

I am very happy that I don't need to check my case in the USCIS. It was very bad, hard time. ;)

Amoro, the NVC will send you a letter after your petition has been forwarded to the Embassy. The Embassy should inform you, but this process varies with each Embassy. I would suggest going to the Australian forum and looking for info.

C and J, the interview is in process now. Manila is 14 hours ahead of CST so it is almost 9 AM Wednesday there. Hopefully, I can post some good news yet tonight.
