Come on. These legislators are from Oklahoma. I wouldn't have expected anything else -- I was exiled from the USA to Oklahoma for a number of years and got to know it a bit to well.

And you can bet your boot that those guys talk the bible a lot and haven't the vaguest idea what is actually in it.

2nd of all, i know what brother Rich meant...so, don't generalized..; his history is that he feels there is allot of terror and death committed in the name of Allah and Islam..and that he feels that the sanctions on them worldwide from the Islamic community is not severe enough to curb the current events...he writes this all the time... to an extent he is correct..the Chechen's are tired of terror and death...as are allot of areas that have been directly effected..and the mass of folks in the area s ( not america or europe) are silent

Rich has always made it crystal clear that his problem is not only with certain people who claim to be Muslims, but with Islam itself. I think it can be painful for some Muslims to see a fellow Muslim appear to agree with this line of thinking.

similar to the KKK in the South, where the north was appalled but certain areas of the south supportive and did little to voice disapproval of what they were doing in the name of Christianity ..

but if it his belief that it is a religion of terror and hate is incorrect and i think brother rich does not believe that..i may be wrong...if so, then it is on me...

What's referred to as "Islam" is not much different than what was referred to as the ole' "Communism" in many ways. Lots of blood and suffering, terrorism and lots of silence where it happened. Rich, of course, seems to have the luxury of not knowing what it's like to live under those type regimes. Grandstanding is always easy. Having lived and fought it is a different story altogether.

I don't need to eat sh!t to know it tastes bad. I've visited the middle east and China. I never lived their though. I also am a US veteran, which means I laid my life on the line for all Americans... even the ones that disagree with me.

Fair enough. I respect your courage. Gotta ask, though: What percentage of Americans are of the caliber to put their life on the line? 5%? 10% Would you hear them if the regime they lived under was different? Not in a million years. Remember, Stalin is said to have been responsible for more Russian deaths than WWII.
