Hi All,

Someone's probably answered this in the forum somewhere already, but I just want to make sure... does the following mean that an NOA2 is on its way to me soon? I have been waiting 4 months for something and this is my first touch/status change. I was getting a little worried:

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Case received and pending.

On June 14, 2007, we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

No, it means that your application has been received and is pending.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

Ok, so from people's experience, after their case has been marked received and pending, what is the typical turnaround time from that point? When can I TYPICALLY (barring any issues with my petition) expect to receive an NOA2? I know that each case is different, so I'm asking for an "on average" answer. If anyone wants to share their personal experience that would be great. Thanks!

I have been told my case has been assigned to an officer on 10/15. I am at day 148 today.

Hoping to be approved soon. Good luck!

If I were you, I'd be thinking in terms of 150 to 180 days at this time.
