Problem with WAC number on back of check

Ok so our check has already been cashed (surprise surprise!) now I just looked at the check online and the number on there is as follows WACTTL07 **-**-****,but if I try to enter that into the USCIS system it wont let me!

I thought it was supposed to be WAc and then didgits and no letters as in our case?! Anyone know's how to enter the number into their system????

WOW! You got your NOA1 fast! I'm a September filer and we still don't have ours! Congratulations! At least we know CSC is still working. Now I'm just wondering if they got our I129-F!

Hi Nat,

how did you end up solving yours. I still can't make out 2 numbers/letters on mine. What was the general format, WAC, and then were there any more letters or only numbers? Just curious as ours are probably really close. Thanks!

Well I went and looked at the back of the check again and there's actually two WAC numbers,one right underneath where it says that the check went to US Treasury INs and stuff that was the WAC TTL and the digits,WRONG ONE.

(tried to enter it several times and never got anything....lol)

And then when I looked at the check AGAIN it was right there about on the middle of the check on the left side .It's a WAC*********** number ONLY digits after the WAC.

And when I typed that in our case came up.

Touched yesterdayand this is what it read:

Receipt Number: WAC0800852172 Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) Current Status: Case received and pending. On October 11, 2007, we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them.

ok thanks! i kinda like this detective work. i was able to figure mine out after i knew it started with 08008, i couldnt tell before what it was. yep i have the same message as you. now i guess we can just sit back and wait.
