I'm grateful for a good husband, a baby boy on the way, good family, good friends, and an over all really good life.

Oh Stina, it's gonna be a boy? That's awesome! :star: We should know whether it's a boy or girl by the end of this month! :D

Thanks! :)

I bet you are excited to find out!

We are! Haven't started to buy any baby things yet. We've thought of some names, but I kinda want to wait and see the baby, hold it, before settling on a name. :star:

How about you guys? Any Indian names? :star:

Yeah we have the name picked. :) We had settled on a girl name and boy name and on the day of the u/s would find out which one it was! I have heard some people do like to wait and see the baby first, which is also nice, but I am too impatient and we wanted to start calling the baby by name as soon as we knew. It is an Indian name...Kavi. (means poet) As for baby things...we have hardly bought anything but since it's our first baby(first grandchild for my parents) everyone we know is really excited and we probably already have enough baby boy clothes for his first 3 months! My sister, parents, and a close friend have gone crazy buying things. Other's have given us some things like a baby swing, bathtub, etc. and my baby shower is in 2 1/2 weeks.

(sorry about the thread hijack! hehe)

No need to be sorry...we're talking about all things to be grateful for. :P

I like the name!

I kind of like the name Sydney (girl) or Sidney (boy), but we're open to suggestions. :D

I like Sidney. It's funny you have the same name for either because ours was a similar thing. Kavi for boy, Kavya for girl. Same name just gendered differently. :) (BTW-Kavi is pronounced kuh-vee)

I'm grateful for...

1. The Internet, for without which, I never would've met my fiancee and found my partner in life.

2. The availability of educational and career opportunities in the world today. Many years ago, things were far more restrictive, in regards to class, race, gender and religion.

3. The medical technology we have today, with which we can save countless lives, treat and cure numerous diseases and reduce suffering.

4. The high degree of sanitation, which makes the place so much cleaner. In addition, can you imagine being around before the widespread use of toilet paper, when people may have taken a shower once or twice in their life or when people threw their garbage outside of their windows onto the streets below? I wouldn't want to be around during that time.

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
