I must admit that - a week and a half into being all by myself at home with my wife and baby almost 8,000 miles away - it is tougher than I would have imagined it to be. The house is just so freaking empty. So, I took some more time off from work and bought my ticket today to go an see them for a few days. It's still some time out but at least I have a date not quite so distant as that of their return to look forward to.

I miss my babies.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

cut the time in half with a visit

That's the idea. It's not quite "half-time" but I learned yesterday that there's a good chance that I might need to travel to Dublin for business this year still. As the year is drawing to a close, the schedule is starting to get tight.

question brother reinhard..i enjoy beers from countries i visit..is the beer there good? ..i know almost all countries, except certain Muslim ones..have a national or local beer...

They have a number of beers in Ethiopia. Most notably Meta, Dashen and Castel beer. All three very good. Not quite the same as what you'd find in Europe but certainly much better than the poor excuses of a beverage they fill into "beer" bottles around here.
