My fiancée & I would rather have someone complete the documentation for the K1 VISA for us & we were wondering if anyone here on VJ has any experience with any VISA attorneys or document completion services in Florida?

We have already spoken with Fiancée Visa Pros (http://www.fianceevisapros.com/fianceevisas.asp) & they were very helpful, does anyone have any experience with them?

Thanks

Craig & Mindi

We have heard so many horror stories of people who used attorneys.

Unless you have very unusual circumstances in your case, you should definitely be able to do the paperwork yourself. Most of us at VJ did.

Good luck.

Some people just aren't comfortable doing paperwork. If they want to use a service and can afford it, let 'em.

I think a lot of us try to make rocket science out of it. In our mind it is one of the most important forms we will ever fill out and we spend hours and hours fretting over nothing.

I am in my second K-1 process. On the first I probably spent 8 hours deciding if I should type the names in all caps or first letter caps and I probably spent another 8 hours thinking about how to squeze long info into short spaces. I probably spent 20 hours thinking if I had translated her name into English properly. I filled out practice forms 6 or 8 times making sure I was going to do everything right.

With the second K-1, I just sat down and filled it all out and probably spent between one and two hours on it. The cold hard reality of it is they are not that fussy and we try to make it a much bigger deal than it is. There is nothing to it if you read here and do it yourself.

Umm, We used a attorney who specializes in K-1 visa's, the dratf I-129f and G- 325a they sent us to sign, were just riddled with mistakes, names wrond, addresses wrong, date of births wrong, I wouldn't go near one again. If your case is special seek out a good one, if simple just do it your self. Remember they are in it for the money, you are in it for your future.

Morning!

We are in the process of using an excellent law firm, that is very professional, mostly done all online, except for needing to sign and date, however, they sent that international priority courier, we got it and returned it within seven days. We are very pleased with their efforts, and they have a 100% success rate. It really has taken the stress and worry out of it all. They have an excellent eye for detail, and have advised us on certain things, to make our application not only professional, but easy for the person who is going to approve it. Our application was binded, had a contents page and all. Very professional and well worth it, especially since I will be getting a mock interview phone session with them, to help me prepare for the interview. Lots more, well worth it kinda stuff!

Here you go http://www.kvisalawyer.com/contact/index.php

Good Luck!
