Hello, I just recently sent in my I-129F a couple days ago. The only thing that has me worried is the amount of photos. I sent about 7 or 8, which is all I have of us together pretty much (at the time I kept forgetting to bring my camera and marriage was far from my mind). I'm worried that if that isn't enough and they send me an RFE. I only have 1 other photo to send. Should I worry at all? Most of the photos are different but in the same 3 locations. Will that be a problem at all?

Photos are secondary evidence and are not necessary, but can help.

What you do need to send is evidence that the two of you have met, like receipts, board passes and passport stamps.

Good if you can make another trip and shoot more pics. Also good evidence showing you have a bonafide relationship.

COs or pre interviewers most always ask the bene how many times you met and for how long.

More ammo the better!

I agree that for the original I-129F the amount of photos is not as important as the primary evidence you have. But I also think that more photos and trying to make more trips before the interview, would be a really good idea, as beckypua said the more the better. Good Luck!

I have seen some posts that said they didn't submit any and didn't have a problem. We only submitted about six with the petition but Claudeth took two 3-ring binders full of photos to the interview.

We only sent 6 pictures. I was looking at 40 + and wanted to decrease that number -- my husband wanted to send more.

It's not necessary since you'd just be sending more of the same thing: you and your fiance.

We never received an RFE for anything and our case was approved quite quickly....

That was my problem too. We both really wanted to spend another Christmas together but since his interview was March we decided to wait. So I was there for the interview (which was better) and we had a marvelous pre-honeymoon in RIO DE JANEIRO.

You being there at the time of the inteview is a strong indicator of a bona fide relationship.

The amount you send doesn't matter, you don't want to overwhelm them with two much. 8 I would think is a maximum.

What matters is what the photos show: it's good to have pictures that show you at different times, the two of you with other people such as friend or family, well known landmarks or at least different places.

Photo evidence is always secondary. Remember your primary evidence is copies of dated tickets, passport stamps, tourist or business visas, and so forth. Photos only help to support your position, you can do that with only a few.
