We just got a touch for the first time since NOA1 today! It must be my birthday. Ohh wait, IT IS. :D

Ohh, Brian thought it was just a "Touch", but now, I am checking carefully. I kinda believe it's just an approval!!! I sent him a text message, but it seems it didn't wake him up... In some words, I can't believe my eyes!! I hope he was just careless enough to think it's only a "Touch". When he told me this in my morning, I said to myself: "What?! Only a TOUCH?!" I bet he will wake up in the early morning, read my text message and call me... :innocent: Time is just crawling... ( I guess I am a bit excited!!! :) )

Thanks for the kind words everyone, it was definately approved the 13th! We didn't get an email though. I tried setting it up to send both of us an email. Just did the usual and seperated the email addresses by a comma, so far nothing. ohhh well. It was worth a try.

I'm excited, but I worry the most about the consulate phase. I'll just be really happy when we have the visa in hand.

Mar. 18, 2008- sent the AOS package(I-485 and EAD)..applied for SSN..

Mar.19, 2008-Delivered. signed for by V Bustamante-took and passed written driving test

Congrats to all the newly approved!

I just spoke to the Embassy in Costa Rica and my papers for the interview are ready to be picked up (mail in Costa Rica = BADNESS so they don't mail them). Now if only my damn Police check from Australia would hurry up and arrive, my process would be done!

I didn't do anything special. I just called every day. Today when I first called around 12pm EST the lady told me that they just received my case but wasn't entered into the system. When I asked when to call back she told me 15 days. Well I called at 6pm EST and they had it entered in the computer and were able to give me my case number. Probably after the 3 day weekend it will be shipped to the Consulate.

Philippines doesn't have a packet 3 only a packet 4. But I have most things prepared for the packet 4 already. But yeah I suggest calling Tuesday.
