don't worry, moxie... as always, the period they're working on seems to be spread over about six weeks; you could be lucky, and be right at the end of that bracket, or unlucky, and right at the start, but they'll get to you soon enough :)

I'm still envious of the people who had a wait time of three months or so; that seems miraculous to poor little July filer me :P

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

I called on Friday and they told me it was on an adjudicator's desk. Apparently this particular adjudicator's desk is about the size of a football field. :(

That's a good sign, Mox!! Just the fact that it's not sitting in a box and it's on an adjudicator's desk sounds really promising!! Yours should be coming in no time!! :yes:

9/29/08: EAD & AP - approved!!

10/6/08: EAD & AP - received in the mail!

2/06/09: Received interview notice for March 10th!!

3/10/09: Passed interview - husband's GC approved!!! Woohoo!!! :-)

Naw, Mox's petition makes a great table leveler and pulls double duty as a nice foot rest. You know, because the adjudicators job is SOOOOOO physically demanding ;)
