oh damn, same girl, same story, different pictures

I'm glad someone did a little research because I was going to. first of all, this has been a really good read. These guys are pretty rough, but I couldnt help agreeing with almost every response.

Dude, Ruteger, you must have a little bit of money to be able to go through something like this. And to have a little bit of money, one is usually successful in life. And to be successful, one must be somewhat smart. If you feel the need to visit these sites looking to basically purchase a wife, by all means...

I understand that some men find love this way. Stereotypically, its the older, widowed/divorced, financially happy, horny/bored, white guy from Middlef#*k, USA. I'm certainly not saying you are this guy. In fact, those seem to be the guys who actually succeed in their international mission. But, I'm curious as to why you chose this particular girl, from this particular site. Kisschick '76 has posted the two tatiana's fitting your description. At first look, on the first link, I can't say there's much info given about her. Though these few words speak volumes to me....."Details: Places ads on popular personals sites; often listed as residing in USA. Requests moeny for correspondence in the first letters. Claims to have a small daughter." Often listed as residing in USA???:blink: Requests money in first letter???:blink: Are you F#*king kidding me? How could you not see how bad this was from the first minute? Take a look at the second link. Exact same girl described. From the same town even, with the exact same description. Just a different photo. Now, when you're on the page from the second link http://www.anastasiaweb.com/scam/girlscam/g5-4.html

Filed: K-1 Visa Country: Philippines
Timeline
All,

I wrote and eventually met a woman named Tatiana (her ID is: 1085990). (I traveled to Odessa 2 times) thru Anastasiaweb.com to meet her. I sent her money for English Lessons ($500) and other gifts. She agreed to come to stay with me, during my last visit with her, but when I started the Visa process she mysteriously denied agreeing to coming to America or becoming my wife ( I have a log of all letters between us confirming this). I will enter any courtroom to defend my statements.

She will not repay me any money that I gave her.

I wrote the Anastasia Agency to complain and request her removal from their site for deception, but they have taken her side, and will not remove her from their Web site. They gave me 20 credits as a bribe, but that is nothing compared to the $800 in gifts + airfaire, vacation time, etc. I gave to Tatiana as gifts (cell phone, dress, ring, etc.)

Anyone may write me a private e-mail requesting further details, but I really need your support in calling or writing Anastasia so that in the future so that no other men are cheated by Anastasia or this woman.

Sincerely,

Andre

Ah, you entered the world of FSU scammers. Some of the web sites are on cohoots with them.

Don't feel too bad, some guys get taken for $5000 to $10000, or more.

It was sooo obvious! Is this guy even serious? Poor guy. he probably is for real. I do feel bad for him though. He was a schmuck, but we all have those moments we wish we could rethink. I just hope he wasn't truly in love. There's no way he could have been. I'm too lazy to go back and check, but did he ever go and visit her?

Geez,

I tried to do the right thing, and in return I go treated like ######. Why?

A girl can change her mind, can't she?

In what way do you think the web site should be responsible?

Is the OP serious?? It sounds a little bit like this story:

A television commercial promoting Pepsi Stuff showed a teenager acquiring various items with Pepsi points. Near the end of the commercial, he arrived at school in a Harrier jet as the words "Harrier jet: 7,000,000 Pepsi Points" appeared on screen. In 1996, John D.R. Leonard attempted to buy the Harrier jet with 15 Pepsi Points and a check for $700,008.50. This amount of money was to cover the remaining Pepsi Points, which could be bought for $0.10 per point, and the $10 shipping and handling fee. Pepsi however refused to process the transaction. Leonard subsequently filed a suit

Did you see the alleged USCIS statistics they have posted on one of their pages:

Foreign Marriage Statistics

A few guys have blasted me for the statistic of foreign marriage statistics that I have on my Facts page. Well, here are the official statistics from the US government (uscis.gov) for the year 2003.

3889 K-1's (fiancée) entered the USA

54.0% left the USA within 6 months

28.2% left between 6 months to one year

17.7% lasted more than one year

1546 K-3 (spouse) entered the USA

70.3% left the USA within 6 months

22.6% left between 6 months to one year

7.1 % lasted more than one year

for one, i think the number of k-1 and k-3 coming to the states is quite low. probably made up statistics.

Sounds incredible - where are these stats on the USCIS website? Does it clarify further? I mean, could AP holders be included in this figure?

Thank you all for my morning laugh. Can't say much about the subject. I've done enough shaking of my head in ten minutes to last me a whole week. Dumb and Dumber 3 coming to a theatre near you!

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard
