Just thought I'd share my happiness with everybody!!! I-601 approval letter came today. :no::yes::D:lol::) and anything else with a happy face!!

I called the 900 # and they said with in 3 week they would send more papers with an appt. Anyone know what they do at the next appt. and how soon after he'll get to come home??? All so how long will be in Juarez at this appt.(providing everything goes well)

Congrats Nicole. August 11 was the date for a lot of September 06 filers. Check www.immigrate2us.net -- you'll get an open pick up letter sometime in the next 3-5 weeks. If he has been one year since his first interview date, he'll need to repeat the medical, forms and fees. He'll get his visa the same day.

10/6/07: AOS Packet Mailed to Chicago Lockbox!

10/8/07: Return Receipt stamped received by USCIS

10/19/07: NOA Receipt for AOS & EAD received

10/24/07: Case Online at USCIS.gov

11/3/07: Biometrics Appointment

11/14/07: Appointment Letter received

11/16/07: EAD Production ordered.

11/21/07: AOS Interview - Approved - Hubby is Legal Permanent Resident (Conditional)

11/23/07: Registered Customer's new permanent resident status (Online Case Status)

11/26/07: Production of EAD ordered (Online Case Status)

11/28/07: Received EAD Card!

11/30/07: Received Welcome to the U.S. Letter

12/1/07: Received GREEN CARD!

Married August 21 2004 in Nova Scotia!

October 19/04 sent I-130.

April 17/08 finally arrive back in New Orleans after 3 years and 8 months.

May 19/08 Perm Resident Card arrives.

July 24/08 Reapply for a new SS card with married name.

August 4/08 Baby daughter born.
