how much does a pedicure, hair treatment, facial costs in the US? how is it done? just curious... getting ready for salon trips when wife gets here....

It depends on what service you want and the quality of the salon. I found it a little bit cheap if you go to a foot and nail spa that owns by Asians. But in generals for the Spa pedicure to just nail polish it is from $15-$45. For hair treatment, it varies also with the products and brand the hairstylist will use for client's hair which is from $20-$50. For the Facial spa, depends also what kind of mask will they use and other treatment like acne, warts or anti-aging which is usually for 60 mins it ranges from $80-$145.

It really depends on where you are in the country. My old roommate used to get pedicures in San Francisco for $10, but they run closer to $35 out here. Might have more luck asking women in your area where they go.

I just had a full set of highlights and haircut and that was $280 (average for VA / DC - not sure where you are). A pedicure I can get at one of the many "nail" salons in this area, but the "beauticians" (and I do use that term loosely) are really really rough and frankly its too painful to bother. Pedicures at spas etc are about $50 and a massage about $125.
