hi all...we filed our I-130 in June and got back a receipt 2 weeks, later. My lawyer  assured me that he would file the I-129 immediately, and I hounded him a couple of times before coming out here to Ontario to see my wife. I've got a sneaking suspicion he sat on the I-129 until the last minute, but he told me that he sent it but hasn't received confirmation because of the huge backlog due to the fee change. Has anyone gotten any notice after sending July paperwork? I guess I'll find out for sure when he hands me the bill with the I-129 filing fee... :crying:

My husband(citizen) filed i-129F on July 28 and he got receipt notice on Aug 20. The fee for I 129f is changed from Aug 01.($170(i'm not sure) -> free).

Hey there!

We filed our I-129F last July 28, 2007 and got our NOA1 on August 10, 2007. You'll have to wait a little longer for the NOA2 to arrive. You can check on the timelines (see timelines link for this :D) for your Service Center so that you can have an idea how long you will have to wait.

Hang on in there buddy! Relax and enjoy your journey! Goodluck to you guys! :D

2-0. In favor of the boys.
