Hello all!

I wonder if anyone has ever experienced being approved 2x (aside from C and P)??? I sent an email to CSC the other day regarding not having a status update stating our approval on August 2 (it still says pending up until now). We have received the NOA2 hardcopy already. They immediately replied saying our case is approved and a notice is being ordered. So, the officer who replied to my mail probably didn't read my email right and was assuming I was just following up our case. Also had touches for 3 consecutive days, I was guessing that it was generated from my email but then I just received the CRIS email now that we're approved on August 21. Our case online was also updated!

So now, I don't know which NOA2 date is the real date anymore... :crying: I was waiting for our case to get to NVC but now I know that it was just sitting around at CSC and with their lousy sytem got approved for the second time! I feel that the second approval date maybe the accurate one. I'm just confused and worried now...that means it will even take longer to get to NVC! :help:

Go by the date on the hardcopy NOA2. There have been several people who have reported getting an approval email a while after the actual approval. Seems to be some kind of 'glitch' in their system.

I suspect that the touches after the approval was them preparing your case to send it to the NVC.

Unfortunately, it IS taking longer lately to get from CSC to NVC. Not much you can do but wait.

Sorry can't remember where to edit my post..

I'm going to ask my fiancé to call CSC regarding this coz its causing me to worry. and i thought CSC dilemma was over! hmph!!! I can't believe this! Their system really suck! I know that probably I was right in emailing them...if not maybe our case will be lying around at CSC forever!! Maybe it was a dumb officer who just sent our approval notice before - but I know it also happened to a lot of people here, being approved without email notifications and status updates. Oh well, I hope I would see some light about this soon.

YES, only received one hard copy and I'm expecting to receive a second one in the mail. According to the email reply from CSC, an approval notice has been ordered on August 21 as also stated in the case status.

Go by the date on the hardcopy NOA2. There have been several people who have reported getting an approval email a while after the actual approval. Seems to be some kind of 'glitch' in their system.

The approval email should match the hard copy NOA2 date. Mine isn't. I only received the email and case update because I emailed them about it.

Rambaldi, I can't help but worry about it. I know things are going to get more delayed for me. I feel that they just sent me the approval notice without updating their system. If they did update it, they wouldn't approve me again right? my first NOA2 date was AUGUST 2. I'm even touched again for 3 consecutive days for my second approval AUGUST 21 date.

Whoa! RELAX you have the original hardcopy...go by that date. The computer system really means NOTHING. That hard copy is what is needed for the AOS and is really all you need. Remember there were other filers several months ago who never received anything, just the letter from NVC and I think a few actually just received packet 3 from the Embassy without having any knowledge of the approval.

So, don't get worked up over it it is just waiting to be shipped to NVC like the rest of us....and boy is THAT burning my a**.

Your approval date is in the database so any additional approval NOAs should use that same date. You should b receiving a letter from the NVC with the embassy case number on it. Make sure you file that approval NOA in a safe place, you will need it for AOS. Good luck
