thanks. i will give this a try tomorrow...

Neel I would say contact your embassy too, because I heard about a case where somebody didn't hear anything from NVC and suddenly one day thier fiance recieved a packet 3 in the mail. It's a long shot but hopefully VSC didn't bother to contact you but might have forwarded it to the embassy. Try that route. Good luck  I hope I didn't get your hopes up, thats not my intention here, just to give you an another option and hoping I am right though, so you getto see your husband soon.

exactly, i don't have a case number or anything.... how can i contact them. any suggestions.

also i don't think they are superfast..they are just superslow....

from my observations i have come to a conclusion that your approval, your transfer are all depended on your case worker at uscis. so mine is some lazy person who was slow in approving and now probably doing the same thing in sending it over to nvc. only if i could meet him/her once...

neel, how about you try calling DOS. I was reading one forum where they were discussing calling DOS (Dept. of State) visa information line at 202.663.1225 then menu selections 1-0-0 and ask them for a current status.

This may be a silly question, but how will I know when it has been transferred to NVC or to the Embassy? I know my wife will receive a packet 3, but will we hear anything between now and then? My NOA2 for I-129F came yesterday.

I think that besides Kss, the rest are still waiting. Neel, you are the next whose petition will be received to NVC. Don't worry you are not the only who is experiencing this delay. My husband called today and they said that the waiting time is between 2 and 4 weeks.

I am not sure if you will receive a letter from NVC. But you can call to NVC and ask if they have received your petition. We were approved on 15 August and our is not received yet

Thanks, Kalina. From this thread, it sounds like I shouldn't even bother calling until around mid-September. Oh well, I'm just so thrilled that we got our NOA2 and that the longest part of the wait is over!!! :D

I don't know what to say Erika's husband  Call them next week. Today I look at VJ members timelines and some have their cases forwarded to NVC within a week and others within a month. I don't know from what this depend.
