Embassy Review : November 08, 2007

Sorry i posted late how my interview goes. Me and my 3 kids arrived there at USEM about 6:30am already from Cavite, and the line was quite long already, after standing 20mins we get to enter in the embassy by 7:30 and waited to get the ticket number. My line got called for ticket number was almost 8am , i did noticed many is not prepared in their forms , like they dont paid for the kid they applying too , dont have the two copies of DS forms, not glued picture and dont paid the application fee 100$. But me I was very prepared i make sure each of us is complete and properly arranged and the guy who giving the number ticket in the counter told me i have beautiful kids and said goodluck. My lucky ticket number is 5005 , lol i think most of us approved dont forgot the ticket number.About 8:45 we are called in finger scanning , the lady was not that nice lol , coz she get me nervous coz at first i dont see the note in the window that u have to put all ur things in the floor when doing the fingerscan, so she said " dont u know how to read the instruction and ask for the next person in line and so i read and i put down my bag in the floor fast and she said ok ill take u again , i do my fingerscan just one time and she said very good coz some has to do twice or more, then she asked my eldest son i showed her and she said what a handsome boy , then my second son she said what a goodlooking boy , then my daughter what a beautiful girl , ur kids look like you they are all pretty , she dont get their fingerscan though she just look at them , ( i guess that day we had a very good aura lol most of them comment were pretty ) . About 9:30am i was called in the window 22 for prescreener , she is a lady , she is nice she greeted me good morning as well as my kids , she ask me the bc , mc , affidavit of support and since we are late registered she ask me some old ids , baptismal school records ,proof of relationship like phonebills , chat , email , while asking me the documents , she ask how did we met , how long we are married , how my first marriage ended , why it ended in divorce , she talk also to the kids just ask their name. AFter she gathered all the documents she want she said when do u planning to go in the states if u will get approved i said as soon i get my visa i would be flying to the states , she said ok thats all u have beautiful kids though , goodluck then , wait for ur number to be called for the consul interview. Thats it another relaxing step , just about 10am i get to called to the room nub 29 , the consul interview , we have to wait for another 5mins outside coz there still another applicant inside and i can hear she saying many things about his and her guy thats make me nervous more , ok here is the moment of truth we go inside the room, the consul greet me hello and how are you , i said im fine then ill sit down , my eldest son was sitting across the other chair while my second is sitting down next to me and my daughter was standing in front of the window lol , i see my files in the front of the consul , the folder that the lady prescreener got from me that have all my documents and prove of relationship , the consul look at me and then he type something in the computer , then he pass along the folder just look at the first file in front and it was my bc , mc , baptismal and then he give back the whole folder to me and open the file from the NVC center. While he is looking at that file , he ask me how did we met , how long were married, tell me about ur husband , how long is he working in this company , wat is his kind of work, i was nervous in every question but i answered him fast and accurate , then he stare at me and then my first son across me and then try to look at my second son behind that the time was looking outside the room , so i have to call him to face the consul , and then my daughter who is in front of the window , he stared at us for i think 1 mins one by one and then he smiled and said they are really ur children they are beautiful like you, ok raise ur right hand and swear etc etc , i did not memorize lol i said to myself im raising my hand does this mean im approved, we answered yes and my daughter was quite shy , i have to tell say yes louder lol , and then the consul said ok we will just need the medical result of shane and everything will be alright and he stamped the word approved in my folder. i said thank you and he smiled again to us and tell me to wait for my name to be called in window 37 , after maybe 30 mins i got called in the window 37 and got my pink slip and same as the consul said they will just wait for the medical result of my daughter and paid the delivery fee. After we get off the embassy my sister in law waiting for me outside coz they are the one holding the cellphone and as expected my husband was waiting on line on the result lol. So all in all the experience is good the filipino and consul is nice. Guess its the beauty of pinay that attract the goodluck in that day to me hahaha .

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
