Hello , I filed November 26th 2024 for spouse I 130 , Nebraska center service and still pending

I saw some people after me got approved or got RFE

any ideas what s going on ?

Might be worth another read of your previous thread, as advised then it wouldn't be until 2026 that you'd have expected a response going on current processing times -

So there's nothing to worry about at all. Just to confirm, you're a US citizen, not a LPR?

Visa Journey reported average for I-130s at the Vermont Service center is 422 days.  You could be looking at early next year before the I-130 is approved.

I m a US citizen so I hope I will hear something back very soon

Never compare your case with another even if using same embassy

your case is in the slow lane probable as u petitioned just before all the 2024 holidays

BTW

make sure  your 2025 tax returns are done ASAP as your interview will obviously be later than 15th of April

make sure your spouse is listed on those and 2024 since u were married

not only for the bigger deduction but to have that as proof of bona fide marriage

not known easily but at NVC stage spouse will need 2 reports for the criminal reports

Most recent approvals are from PD 12/4/25.

You’re only a week off from that. It’s usually when you’re a month off from the  most recent approvals that you’re in for a wait.

Also, high fraud risk country so longer wait wouldn’t be surprising if it does turn out to be in the cards. Doesn’t mean a rejection or RFE, just more going on behind the scenes.

That's great news.  Thanks for that info.  We filed on 12/4/24.  Ours is through the Nebraska Service Center.

I’m 1/1/25 NSC. I’m bothering my dear husband to find his childhood vaccination records because best guest would be late January/early February for him.

Some of the API scraping sites are less great now thanks to very recent USCIS policy changes, but it’s still pretty easy to see where the bulk of the approvals are from on the immigration Reddits/Discords/Facebook groups. VJ approvals tend to lag behind for some reason (like I said, my guess is because people with issues come here for advice skewing our data.)
