If money is issue ,  K1 and the AOS ;process are more expensive

and a weekend to take photos is not what immigration is asking / they want to see quality time spent together (can be chaperoned as we were in Morocco)

the big question is "do u have any of the red flag issues ?"

u say both are traditional families , so same religion?

is woman of child bearing age?

Is there a big age gap?  over 10 years?

Who is the male?  if pakistan is the male ,  plan on lengthy security checks after interview (for either K1 or CR1)

BTW affidavits are of little use for immigration

the very best to the 2 of u but understand u r going to have to travel to Pakistan and spend more time for a good outcome

yes same religion and yes child bearing age and yes less than 10 years age gap and I (petitioner) am male

I was thinking the affidavits can be a substitute for the photos for K1 maybe so they can attest to the meeting in person requirement?

Can you explain about spending more time? meaning for K1 or CR1? or both?

Another vote for CR-1 but only after more time together. Most people don’t choose to marry after such a short amount of time and  just a couple of weeks in each others company, and with a high fraud consulate you need to put a strong case forward.

Really? that's interesting. from what I know its pretty common in Pakistan from what I hear from people I know. Usually people visit once and meet them and then continue communication and the next visit to marry

Maybe in Pakistan, but not in the US.

How many trips to visit is less important than how much time spent together.  If you can't have an extended visit, then yes two or three visits total would be much better than the situation you are in now.  Chances of eventual IR1 approval through Islamabad, is much better.

Focus on minimum requirements, is a mistake, particularly for countries with a record of high US immigration fraud.  I never advise a K1 visa coming from Pakistan.

It's not going to be CR1.  It will take more than two years, so it will be IR1.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
