Hello everyone,

I'm a bit worried about my children (stepchildren). With the insecurity in the country of their abode, I'm very worried about their safety.

I am a US citizen, filed for my husband. He has his conditional greencard. We filed for condition removal early this year but he was given an extension.  I feel this wouldn't enable him to be able to file for the children on time.

Can I file for them? I'm willing to start the process asap if I can.

Thank you all for your input.

How old are they

I don't understand this comment, are you saying he got a 2 year GC and now is applying to remove conditions to get the 10 year one? If so, he doesn't need to wait, he could have filed for them back when he got his original GC.

But as said above, it would be MUCH quicker/better for you to file for them if you can. How old are they, and how old were they when you married their father? Is the mother happy for them to leave their home country?
