Hey all;

Title sums it up - we filed concurrently, Adjustment of Status I-485, as well as for I-765 and I-131. Field Office will be San Antonio, Texas.

I don't want to sound impatient - not at all. I'm more just anxious as I see many cases (especially marriage-based) being put through to interview. I filed in June, but have heard nothing beyond "Case is still processing at USCIS".

I do ask EMMA and agents occasionally if I am at least in a queue for interview, but to no avail, I just get told it's still processing at NBC. All are still at NBC

Should I be concerned? It's just a bit frustrating I guess, as I have no EAD and no hope of any movement on GC any time soon. I can deal with it, but I can't help but worry it's a bad sign?

Thank you.

I would just try to stay busy until your EAD and/or interview comes.  It will take as long as it takes.  You filed only 5 months ago.    Waiting is always tough....but you could be oceans apart, and separated for more than a year.  Just roll with the punches.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Of course, you are right, it is only 5 months. I don't mean it form an impatient place, I hope that comes through - it's more concern for the absolute silence. Thinking something is wrong...  (given no EAD, mostly).

After we filed our I-751 for Removal of Conditions, we had 44 months of silence.
