Difficult to know. It is rare that a petitioner has a biometrics appointment.  There must be a question regarding your identity or your background.

Hey guys I'm the petitioner and I sent my i129f November of last year and a few days ago I received a notice for me to do biometrics (fingerprints). How long after doing your fingerprints did you get a response?

Did you have any crimes in your background?

I doubt anyone here will be able to answer that based on personal experience.  It is very rare that a K-1 petitioner is required to do biometrics or attend an interview.

It was violation of a restraining order and stalking

This is likely the reason for the biometrics... they are going to validate that what you disclosed in the I-129F filing is accurate. When you filed the I-129F, did you include court dispositions, arrest records, etc. ?

Ok then the biometrics is most likely for USCIS to verify your information and also to validate that you have nothing pending and/or no wants / warrants that are current

Hopefully the beneficiary knows about the past criminal history.

This is a good point because it will be disclosed to the beneficiary at the Embassy Interview and if they appear surprised by the information, it could cause issues not only between the two of you but also could cause a denial of the visa
